Oh great we are in 11226 and 11222 so guess that means NOISE!!! Think I better stop reading the boards because I am getting more and more discouraged about our cruise and booking it on the Dream :( we even splurged for balcony and adjoining room with our friends....NO kids.....darn

Have you checked to see if you could switch to starboard side? or even down the hall where you might be under the spa offices? ( I have learned that the empty space above 11244 is spa offices.) They might not be adjoining rooms but it might be worth it to not be directly under a treadmill.

Thats why we chose a spa balcony on deck 12...sure it does not have a roof and we get the sun all day and the stars all night, plus lots of people with condensation from their drinks dripping down our back....but who cares....no boom boom boom from the weights, and since there is no reason for privacy on our balcony since we WEAR all of our clothes, then Yippie!!! Who cares if someone can look over, if they do, then I will just look right back and wave hello and invite them down for a martini!

I had originally booked on the port side 11244 but I have since changed to the starboard side of ship - 11243 - just to be safe... as I had read a few threads about the noise and I know it would definitly "bug" me. :eek:

I haven't read through this entire thread so forgive me if this has already been addressed.

Our passports say our first name and our middle names and then the last name.

Exactly like our birth certificates. Does anybody know if this will be a problem for boarding passes as there is not enough "spaces" to put the entire name as shown on the passport. Will it be ok to have the boarding pass in just the first name and last name?

We are flying from Canada so definitly need the passport and I'm wondering if anyone knows if it will be a problem with flight boarding pass as well (because there isn't enough spaces for first middle and last names)

I guess when we had our pass ports made that we should have just done the first and last name.

Has anyone encountered this as a problem?

Here is a site where you can compare decks and drag a deck over another one to see if your cabin is above or below something such as pools, Lido Deck, etc.

Thanks for posting this site. It's awesome. I actually cut out the floor above me from a second brochure to line it up over my floor to see what was above me because we are under the gym and I wanted to now if I was under treadmills - turns out I'm under an empty space that turns out to be the spa offices!!
