We were on the Divina a few years back and the only person who was turned away on Formal night was wearing shorts. Long pants of any style were fine. Children were allowed to wear shorts though.

Thanks for the reply. What I am worried about is what constitutes close contact. Could you be in the casino and someone else in there becomes ill do they assume you were near them and just quarantine you? I believe that not all ships have the tracking bracelets. Just looking for some clarity. This should be coming from MSC but not hearing anything.

Wife and I are due to embark on the Divina on February 13th. We are reading about passengers being quarantined for contact (contact tracing). Needless to say this is very concerning. What we do not like is that no one from the cruise line has laid out the protocols or conditions that trigger these quarantines. This is the one thing, right now, that has us seriously considering changing our cruise out to the future. Frankly I am quite surprised that there is very little chatter on Cruise Critic or other outlets about this possibly happening to passengers. What I am looking for is some first hand feedback from recent passengers about how this is being handled.
Thanks in Advance,Dave

How was the Halloween party? We have been on Oasis class Royal ships the last two Halloweens and they did a great job with the theme party in the Promenade. Thinking of booking the Seaside next Halloween.
Thanks,

There is a buffet bar on deck 16. You can use your mealtime package there. My son used his in the main dining room. It is only draft beer, white and red wine and soda.
Thanks for the reply nat9511

Hi,
Sailing on the Seaside in March and have a few questions about the Mealtime Drink Package.
1. Can this be used in the Buffet on deck 16 during dinner? Not sure if there is a buffet bar up there. I only see the Miami Beach bar. Will it work there?
2. It looks like only wine, beer, and soda. Is it draft beer or bottled or both?
Thanks in advance. This will be our third MSC cruise but the first with this package.

Sadly, the dress code does not seem to be enforced. I saw very few people in the MDR in jackets at night. I saw shorts at lunch with tank tops...it was horrid! But, at night, pants and collared shirts were the norm...
I hear ya! I saw a guy in shorts and a tank top in the MDR for lunch one time and I still have not recovered. Scarred me for life. 😱

X2 Also interested in this info.Hi CruiserMom2Nick - thank you for your review! My husband and I are looking so forward to each part!!!Can you tell us more about the 104 all inclusive package. Did you purchase that while on the ship? Is the package $28.20 per day for you and your husband (total)? Did I read it correctly that it includes beer and wine at dinner and soda and bottled water during the day?
Sorry for so many questions........this package looks very interesting. We also purchased the 18 drink booklet package at $84 per booklet.
Thanks again for your help and looking forward to your review!

Did you use it on a cruise?
On my recent cruise on Orchestra I was told, by the future cruise consultant, that after 1 cruise the points are reset to zero ie welcome.
Another guest was told the same thing by the guest relations manager
We are both black card holders , but not through status match
HERE is a link to the thread where we both post our comments about it

Haven't cruised yet. Received the match and a few weeks later it was back to welcome.

Wife and I both were matched to black then after a few weeks they moved me to welcome. So keep an eye on it even after you do get it.

We would like to get off the ship at Havesight and book an excursion to go snorkeling or sail to St. Croix for the day. My question, is this feasible? We usually do not book excursions through the ship but just jump on with a tour operator when we get off the ship. Has anyone done an excursion like this in St. Thomas booking it ashore?
Thanks,
Dave

A rare shot of me on the other side of the camera...so you can now know who is snapping these pics. Having a peaceful lunch in the Seven Seas, after dropping carry-ons in the room.
Sail away party, just getting started on the Pool Deck

I like your t-shirt. Vintage or late model?

Yes you can. We have done it twice and booked it ashore each time. Stingray Island, not the wheelchair.
