Hi Norris
Really enjoying the review so far, looking forward to more :)

Hi,
I have read all your reviews and the photos and details are fantastic. Looking forward to this one too

Just looking at the Regal Princess for a Caribbean cruise in November this year and the cheapest balconies are at the Aft of the ship and Forward. I have only stayed before Mid Ship and understand that the aft and fore experience more movement; but which would have less movement or is there not much of a difference?
Also does the Dolphin deck have larger balconies as it does on the Island Princess?
Many Thanks for any help

Kenrod, thanks for joining us here!
Page 14-good man. Even page 1 would have been the right answer!
I'm glad you are following along and moreso in that you let me know.
If anyone else reading this wants to come forth from the shadows-let me know as I am putting together a charcuterie plate for my guests and need to know how much pate to make.
Right, back to the kitchen...

Long time reader, very infrequent poster. Loved loved Barcelona, stayed there for 3 days before our cruise on Island Princess this August, fantastic city
Loving the review, adore the photos, thank you Norris :)

Do the laundry machines on the Island require quarters or can we use our cruise card?
When we were on the Island in August we could swipe our cruise cards for tokens for the laundry.
A wash cost $3, dryer was $3, and I think detergent was $1.50

We went to Istanbul in the summer on the Island Princess and I think the shuttle cost $28 per person return.
Not 100% sure as we didnt use it and walked into town

Where do you book the UBD? Call dine line or in person? We want to do it on our Med cruise next year. Will be our first. Thanks so much.
We did the UBD on our Med Cruise this year, and we both thought it was amazing. The food was incredible and with the sunset it was just perfect. It is also very good value for money at $100 per couple, considering you get cocktails, photo, half a bottle of fizzy, flowers plus the multi course dinner
Anyone ever got a visit from the downgrade fairy?

We booked in February for the Royal Princess (sailing next week) and chose cabin B201.
When going online this week to check in and print boarding passes I notice we are now R305. We havent been informed by this by Princess or the Travel Agent we booked with, which I would of expected to happen?
Is this an upgrade then?
