  1. Is Alex still the captain's circle host? She is great.

If she is still onboard, tell her that a couple of passengers from the Pacific Coastal cruise say hi!

Yes, Alex was on the last Infinity sailing before drydock and told us she would be there until March.

  2. That is the first thing I do as soon as the store opens. sometimes they have a endless supply and then other times they may just have a few.

I was just on the Carnival Miracle and they had a mountain of models the first night, so I didn't buy one. When I went back on day 5, they had 3 left. Fortunately, I got one of those.

  3. Boy, I'm so glad that I read your note before embarking on the Coral Princess on Saturday. Model shopping is definitely on my list, and I'm glad to about the size of these in advance so I'm not disappointed.

I agree... it would be wonderful if they standardized the size of these so your "fleet" could be shown off on shelf with the size being relative.

Yes, the Coral Princess model is very small, but it is still nice. As a bigger ship, the Caribbean Princess model I have looks kind of smushed, since the model is the same size as the Coral Princess model, even though the ship itself is much larger.

  4. My fiance and I just got off our first cruise together on the Carnival Miracle, and we kept walking over to the ship model the whole cruise, and finally on the last day, I said, "You know we're gunna kick ourselves if we don't get it, and then we decide to start collecting them" So for $25, we got it, and we're sure glad we did. Now I hope the Caribbean Princess has them when we sail her next year!

The Caribbean Princess does in fact have models. I'm looking at one right now. They are small by comparison to Carnival models, but very nice.:D
