Hi, my friend is going on a cruise that calls in Salerno, we did loads of research for shore excursions (as it seems Salerno is a new stop for celebrity) she wanted to do a private tour. Send me a private email if you would like some of the information we found most useful.

yes you can see all those things, but you might not have the time to actually enjoy them with the added travel time from La Spezia...

 

We have done Florence twice from Livorno (once bus drop off tour and once rented car), and we did Cinque Terre from La Spezia last trip(rented car).

 

I would do Cinque Terre again if port was La Spezia.

I took the plunge and booked a 5 day Bahamas cruise in July with Carnival. I am now in the "What excursions should we do?" stage. I will be booking directly through Carnival, as this is my first time planning a cruise for my family and find this to be much easier for us. My question is, should I book the excursions on their site now? Or will the cost of some excursions get lower if I choose to book on the ship instead? I will be booking our day at Atlantis immediately since it's a top priority, but we're not sure what we would like to do in Freeport and have a little flexibility. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
