As a grandmother of two, ages 1 and a half and 4....GOD bless you for spending the (no doubt) hard-earned dough for the cost of your cruise while vacationing with your wee one....that alone deserves a free drink every day of your vacation...I agree with your need to be frugal (that's French for I seriously need a vacation but I don't want to get a second mortgage to do it) keeping in mind that you will continue to be nickel and dimed for extras that used to be free on Royal Caribbean)....Some interesting responses to your comments here...made for near-dramatic reading....(thought someone was going to challenge you to a duel there for a minute)....People act like they've never tried to save money before, for crying out loud....More importantly, Ive never been so impressed by the sheer number of do-gooders out there responding to your commentary...I'm in awe in fact....I, however, being human, applaud your efforts to save some bucks and would probably do, and have done the same.....and, yeah...I plan on flogging myself later for that faux pas..:)
