I have a quick question for anyone who has been in a SB cabin. Does this cabin category have a fridge?
Anyone?

A quick question for those who are lucky enough to have already taken this cruise. Is there a formal night and if so how formal? The web site doesn't quite make this clear. If I could get away without wearing a suit for a week,I'd be a happy cruiser.

$335 return each with stop in Charlotte

I should thank ONT-CA for suggesting that I check U.S.Air for flights from Detroit. It was about 2A.M. that morning when I looked and could hardly believe the price. Whenever I check back now it's over $1200 for the 2 of us.

I like the sound of Liberty Tours mentioned by huntm earlier in this thread. We will be there pre and post cruise next Jan.and will consider contacting them. Thanks for the idea.

I was able to book U.S. Air Detroit to Mo Bay with one stop for $335 p/p return. I was waiting for the price to drop to around $450, so I'm happy.

Jo, allow us to add our congratulations. I joined CC only four months after you and I'm not even half way there :D
Perhaps Arrow Fan could take advantage of the US Air I spoke of should they be able to fly out of Detroit. From there a hop-over to Chicago is almost nothing while then continuing on down south to Montego Bay. Layovers may make the deal worthwhile. For their information. (FTI?)
Thanks for the advice. We do intend to fly from Detroit. I'll check it out.

Hi guys. The only time we went to Jamaica we docked in Falmouth. Now ,looking for hotels in Montego Bay,I would like to know where the cruise port is. Looking at Google Earth, I think I can surmise where it is but I would just like to confirm. Thanks.

Never mind. Found one.

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel to stay pre cruise and maybe post cruise. Preferably not all inclusive.

I was able to book an SB by phone today after trying their website. Now I just have to find air that wont be too pricey.

Our first RCCL cruise was on Splendour from Venice in 2009. We were upgraded from standard balcony to JS. What I learned was that there is not enough difference to pay extra for a JS.

Island Venturer, I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise. I just became aware of this cruise recently and plan to book it for next season as soon as it becomes available. Can you give me some idea of the size of the balcony in your cabin? Is it big enough for a couple of chairs and table for instance? Thanks in advance.

I've almost always taken two 6 packs of Coke Zero in my carry on. It gets X-Rayed but nobody ever looks inside. I always thought it could just as easily have been beer. I don't know how they could tell the difference from an X-ray.

I plan on asking, and batting my eye lashes.....oh and smile!!
LOL
Good idea. I'm gonna try that too. Does it matter if my lashes don't match my beard?:D

Yaaaaaawn!

Anything over 10 miles.

There was a 4 seasons tribute band on Navigator in Jan. but I think they were called Unexpected Boys.
-
I read the same thing too....in the other seven threads.

Just re-enforces my opinion that MTD is just not all it's cracked up to be. Every cruise we've been on,we've observed people waiting around to eat at the cruise line line's option.I just don't get it.
