A Nutty Russian, not on the menu, but never had trouble getting it on any Ship, Vodka, Frangelico served straight up with or without a lemon twist depending on my mood.

I have done loads of Cruises on Cunard , P&O and Princess. Princess wins every time for me, but not from Southampton, done that once never again.

Thanks for your help

No. The Deck 7 smoking area is aft. E409, as the 4 in the cabin number tells you, is mid-ship.
Datone, stop giving away my secrets! I want E409 saved for me on every Royal-class ship I'm on. I don't want the rest of you trying to steal it. 🙂
I am sure I remember ashtrays on tables on one side of the nice outdoor area midship deck 7 where the rattan tables and chairs are, on the Regal

Is that a smoking area on deck 7?

Eating early. It is done as a special promotion for selected nights depending on number of bookings.
Thanks

The evening meal is good value especially if you take the early bird offer (£20) which includes a bottle of wine..
What is the early bird offer, eating early or booking early?
Cheers Billy

I am looking at Crown right now, Forward section Cabins are showing 231 Sq Ft, Aft section 271 Sq Ft is this an error on the deck plan or are the aft section larger?
Thanks, Billy

We sail on the Breakaway on Nov. 5th. We got our H5 bid accepted on the 4th. That being said it did not appear the H5s were moving as there were at least 8 or 9 showing as available from before bidding began.

Nice, what was you originally booked in and how much did you bid ?

There is no long stay car park next to Ocean Terminal or any other terminal. You have the option of meet and greet at the terminal by CPS or Parking4cruises and possibly other meet and greet companies or park away from the port and have mini bus transfers to the port by the car park company. The other option is to stay in a hotel for the night pre cruise and pay for parking in hotel car park and they arrange transfers to the port.
There is indeed a long stay car park behind the Red funnel ferry terminal a short walk to Ocean Terminal. It is called Triangle Car Park. parking4cruises feature it on their site or you can book direct

Thanks everyone for your advice and comments.
My friend phoned Princess the following day and was told the same ...when you book your cruise it ties you in with that exchange rate.
I rest my case:)

As I said the pound has took a knock since you booked. I sailed on the Regal in November and was getting a rate of $1.43 for pre pays, when the actual going rate was $1.20. You can also pay your gratuities and buy on board credit or Casino credit at that better rate up to three days before departure. Well worth doing. If you look at your friends' personaliser all those other up front charges will be more expensive for them too.
-
Did you book the Cruise at the same time as the other couple? The reason I ask is the price of the pre pay packages varies on the value of the pound against the dollar at time of booking. the pound has taken a knock over the last few months as you know.

After trying numerous bars to watch my teams recent 4-1 defeat, a local guy drinking in a bar we enquired in, led my Wife and I to Trenchtown Rock, 5210 Wilmmelskaft Gade (backstreet). This guy actually left the bar with his beer to take us there very friendly and wouldn't let me buy him a beer either.
Trenchtown Rock is an authentic Caribbean restaurant and bar which shows Soccer games throughout the season. Food and drink reasonably priced.
The staff just love their Football (Soccer). We had the Jerk Chicken Wings Meal deal 6 Wings Mac N Cheese plus fries $11. Carib beer bottles $4

Thank you Jonesmen you answered my question regarding standard balconies perfectly:)

If you go through a mock booking on the Regal, the side balcony staterooms aft on Caribe C627-C735 C626-C734 show a total area of 250 Sq Ft as opposed to 223 Sq Ft on other standard balcony rooms on the same deck. I would like to know where the other footage is made up as on the plan they look the same. Anyone stayed in any of these?
Thanks, Billy.

They were showing on ESPN in the cabin and in the casino on the Summit last week.

Thanks for that:)

About a month before our cruise, we got an email offering to upgrade us to a Sky Suite for $400.
Thanks Patty but I meant the Specialist dining credit
-
That's exactly what we did and got the dinner, except we first had a CC1 cabin.
Did you ask for it, or did they just give it to you on board? I booked CC3 in May 2015 and did a Sky Suite upsell in March this year

On a 7 day, in the tropics Id still feel the bev package would be better in value, because ORV, like me already gets a base OBC of $400 and free gratuities, from the start.
Whatever way you look at it, for 7 nights the $300 OBC still is the better value as you will always be $20.65 better off regardless of any other perks you may be entitled to, which by the way has nothing to do with the OP.;)

You got it ORV!
What does this # mean?

Is it the average number of dress code questions a day?
