    Click on the Safari menu.  Click on Preferences.  Click on Privacy.  Click the "Manage Website Data" button.  It may take a while for all of the websites to load.  Once they load, scroll down to Princess.com and click the "Remove" button and you're done.

    THANK YOU msmoger !!   Worked like a charm .     Lea

  2. I believe "tracking" is an over used fear. I have not found any indication that any part of the crew will be sitting at computer screens watching the whereabouts of 3600 passengers as they wander around the ship looking for miscreants. If you walk/drive around any large city in most of the world you are tracked constantly by people who are actually watching screens. The ships simply do not have the crew necessary to do that.

    The Medallion is not the first tracker, Disney has had it for years, and RCCL recently came out with their version. So if you don't want to be "tracked" you had better cruise quickly or it will be too late.

  3. Kris;

    To put to rest (possibly) the concerns about blocking the RFID chip.. DW brought an RFID blocker which works for cc's and passports. We used the Navigator's tablets for the demo. It appears that the tablets pick up a medallion about 12-15 feet away. When DW put her Medallion in the RFID blocker the tablet picked it up at about the same distance. We were told that the battery and the frequency used made the difference.

    Perhaps you can verify this.

  4. Very nice! I know they said that the Captain's circle colors won't start until later.

    They should be calling you soon to walk you through your online set up with your preferences. At least that's what they told me last night. Once you go the medallion someone would call.

    Looking forward to hearing all about it!

    No phone call as yet. We have had our room changed 3 times from the original booking. Should be an interesting 2 days

  5. We ask for "turn down "service in the morning and only have the room made up once. Carnival is now asking guests if they want AM or PM room service, doing away with twice a day . Just can't figure out why anyone needs to have their bed done twice a day .

  6. Just off the Royal, Yes there is a sign. The agent was on the right side of the group of agents. The Princess reps allowed us to skip the line when I showed our GE cards. We were next in line, however the agent was called away. The agent at the next line waived us over and processed us as would have normally been done. She indicated that the GE agent had two jobs and got called away often.

    So, yes there is GE at Port Everglades. No kiosk as normal at airports yet, and be prepared for the agent to be away, but the others will take care of you, so just play the game.

  7. We are taking the Royal Princess transatlantic next month and I'm trying to remember if there is a hot chocolate dispenser in the buffet. We were on the ship in 2013 and think there was one, but not sure. Anyone recently been on the Royal and can let us know? If there isn't a dispenser I want to pack some cocoa mix packages.

    Yes indeed they do have it--- we just got off a week ago. Enjoy ! The Royal and Regal have the BEST buffets . Just amazing food.

  8. We did that excursion last month and it is VERY weather dependent . The food was amazing but no one could eat due to the rolling water and sea sickness. We were a group of 36 and we were in 2 sailboats. The company had to send their fast boat to pick up 17 passengers who were very sea sick. We stuck it out and went to the cove and snorkeled. Not much to see. The sail back to the port was amazing. The seas died down and we were under full sail and it was like gliding on the water. The crew on both ships couldn't have been better. The took care that the sea sick passengers were put safely aboard the fast boat. Great care was taken as the seas were rough. Bottom line, if the seas are calm it would have been a fantastic day.

  9. On a recent embarkation in Venice, I had the opportunity to look in the confiscated items bin. It was full of Swiss Army knives. Later in the botique I noticed that they were selling knock-off's with a Princess label instead of the traditional red one. Later I asked one of the Princess Security men who was returning confiscated items about the conflict he just laffed and said it was the contract security people not Princess.
