  1. We cruised Sydney to Singapore in March this year and had seas like glass the whole 2 weeks. Beautiful weather, sun all day every day and no rain. It was perfect cruising weather! We always cruise March or April and have never had a problem. The one time we cruised in May we followed a cyclone but the seas were only rough a couple of days although we did have the itinerary change along the way due to some devastation in a couple of ports! All part of cruising!!

  2. We sailed on Ovation from Sydney to Singapore this year and could not fault the ship, the service, the food or the fellow passengers. There was so much to do if you wanted to or you could easily find a quiet spot for a drink, read or chat. We have been on both large and smaller ships from different cruise companies and would have to say that Ovation is now our favourite and have consequently booked a cruise on her to New Zealand next year. The ship and cruise is what you make of it and if you board worried about what to expect you may only see the negatives!

  3. We were on Ovation from Sydney to Singapore this year and was able to book both Northstar and IFly online. I would suggest to just keep checking. Also you can often get on to Northstar by simply lining up without a booking. They like to fill spots as there are generally "no shows" for each booking timeslot. Hang out at the Northstar bar and you will be able to tell when/if the queues are big or not. Happy sailing...you'll love Ovation!
