I was excited to get the premium beverage ugd last week. Looking at the current and upcoming Millennium sailings I don’t see Grgich Hills anymore. I realize wines by the glass do change regularly. Still very disappointed.
I stand corrected. While Opulence chard and cab are not on the bar menu on the current sailing they do show available in blu. 20/25$. in blu It’s on the dinner tab and not the wine tab in the app. My apologies.

What do you consider to be a “good” wine? Most of what I prefer are Sonoma or Napa Chardonnays. Flora springs, stags leap, Wente, grgrich, Ferrari-carano. The Costco Sonoma is not bad. Cabs i like are Hall, Duckhorn, Robert Mondavi, flora springs. Some are more consistent than others. Price isn’t an indicator of quality that’s subjective. If a wine is outstanding though would you sell it for 5$ or 50$? Granted Some of its marketing.

Are there other places on the ship that have a good Cab and you can just carry it in?
Lol That’s how I started down this rabbit hole. I remembered last time you could not get premium wines at all the bars. was looking to see which bars other than cellar masters had some of the “better” wines when I realized the changes.

I see them by the bottle in Murano for Equinox. The Chardonnay is available, also by the bottle, in Luminae but the cab isn’t listed. Were they offered by the glass before? I just don’t remember. My memory is that the chard was in the premium package and the cab was an up charge.
In April on Infinity they had two Grgich Chardonnays and one Cab by the glass in Blu. I think one was 15$ the other two were 20$. Fingers crossed they get something comparable to replace it with.

That lame excuse is getting really old. The only supply chain issue is that Celebrity will not supply enough dollars to buy the wine.
Completely agree. These are the wines listed in Blu on Millennium today. They still have Grgrich in Luminae. I was looking forward to trying some new wines. Hopefully there is something in there worth drinking. Wine doesn’t have to be expensive to be good but imho none of these are memorable.

Hi,
Has anyone gotten the credit that had to quarantine on an April Celebrity sailing?
I was on the 4/13 Infinity trans Atlantic
Towards the end of the Crusie I went to guest relations they said it has to be done after the cruise.
Sent an email a couple days after the Crusie to ask for the credit. Got a form reply saying they would get back to me in the next 30 days. More than a month has gone by still no response.
what’s the best way to escalate that won’t take forever on the phone?
Thank you
Steve

So sorry to hear this…you’ll have to let us know how it was. Have fun on your upcoming cruise! We sailed Summit in the past and enjoyed our time. The old sauna was amazing as well. It looks like we’re neighbors as well!
As of a few weeks ago infinity had the original sauna set up. If you look at the current deck plan it does not show any cabins forward on 10

Hi!
At last ! Onboard Infinity. the steward said no problem to opening the dividers. Now saying only when docked in port. Anyone have recent experience with this on deck 11? My understanding was that it was not possible on 9 but on 11 should not be an issue.

Hi,
Could someone please tell me
Is it the rule or an exception that you can pay the difference to a higher category after final payment?
I want to travel aqua but if the friends that are going don’t want to book Aqua I will be fine with concierge guarantee.
Millennium class concierge are all pretty much the same right ? I Think veranda guarantee is dicey because there are some undesirable cabins.
I was also thinking as the Aqua price has dropped if I wait I may get a better price. Worst case I have the concierge guarantee.
if I pay for aqua there would be no credit or refund to go to a lower category ?
Please let me know if I missed something or got something wrong.
many thanks,
Steve

Aloha,
wondering what the downside is if the concierge guarantee costs than v1?
is the downside winding up on deck 9?
thank you in advance for your wisdom and experiences

Just go to an online site where you can book a specific cabin. If they don’t offer guarantee then whatever is showing available probably is. When they have a guarantee rate then you don’t know how many of those may be sold but unassigned.

It seems to me at least they don’t discount as much on the TA’s as they used to. Some have a lot of unsold inventory. Is there a latest date to book a TA?

The overhang can be nice if you don't want a lot of sun and does let you still use the balcony if there is light rain.
. We have 1110 booked for our March sailing.
Thank you for all that information. I had not even thought about rain. Hope you have a great trip!

Hi,
Looking at doing the infinity TA from rio to Lisbon. Lots of sea days so hoping for a good view and a quiet place to nap.
Hoping for some help deciding between 9 and 11 on a millennium class ship. Do all the aqua cabins on 9 have the same overhang from above? What cabins on 9 do you consider generally safe from noise ?
on 11 which cabins have noise issues from the movies?
many thanks for your wisdom and experience

on Celebrity Infinity in 9 weeks, hope either on the ship and more guys use them
HI, are you on the trans Atlantic? Or the early April one ? I am hoping to go on the TA. Could you give us an update on the ship?

Aloha,
Have been reading about changes to the MDR. How have the menus in Blu been affected? Am looking at infinity TA in April. Was planning on a balcony but tilapia every night is not what I would envision on vacation. Does anyone have recent experience in Blu that could advise if there were more seafood options than in MDR.
many thanks

MSC Preziosa ? Can anyone share info on this ship? Also curious if YC has separate work out facilities? Thanks in advance

Hi
i just glanced back the last few pages but still not sure where things stand. Can someone update me on RC. Are explorer and Indy the only ones from those classes that still have the original steam sauna layout? If there are others are they schedule for dry dock this year for the refit ? Thanks in advance

Hey guys I have been looking at this cruise. Wondering how cold it will be on the days from Bermuda to Portugal? If only it was a month later.....

Hi
I no longer see it on the site where I booked.
You might try emailing them I have been corresponding about beverage packages at this address.
Hope you can go

I hadn’t thought about that. We are 21 days out. When do they open them to others that don’t need the accessibility features?
