  1. Yes I did, but is different in Australia - I want quote before book my free cruise from Pinnacle Certificate. I haven’t received Pinnacle kit which has Certificate No. with conditions, but advised to book a cruise, pay deposit and send reservation # to C&A Australia who will apply Pinnacle certificate. I am waiting to hear if my DP340 discount will be applied to cruise, plus if cruise I’m looking at booking if on special, do I get discounted price? I’m not prepared to pay an extra AU$1000+ if discounts can’t be applied for a 7 or 9night cruise.

  2. I have still not received Pinnacle Kit from turning P in March, almost 7months ago, plus only reply from C&A department from my June email with queries for using free P cruise certificate, is that I can book a cruise, email to them and US$2400 will be deducted.

Have heard conflicting replies if DP340 discount will be applied. As I am in/from Australia, our prices on RCI Australian site include all port charges, taxes and gratuities.

My next cruise is on Ovation in 2weeks and will be 1st time since March 2020 that RCI have had a ship here in Australia.
Are there any Solo Australians on here who have cruised and applied Complimentary P certificate to a cruise that can advise how price is calculated?

I have just applied a Pinnacle Certificate for the 3rd time (cancelled Cruises).
It was extended twice, as we have had 2 seasons cancelled in Australia, and we couldn't leave the country until 2 months ago.
I had to email 'Executive Escalations', after I didn't heard back from C&A (a whole month).
They approved it, even though the cruise is after the current sail by date.

TP in October, if it goes ahead.:)

Edit to say the Certificate comes with the other stuff.

Hi, I am also from Melbourne, Australia. I turned Pinnacle on Navigator of Seas in

March 2022. I haven’t received Pinnacle Kit yet, heard is backlog. Plus have not been able use my Pinnacle free cruise as haven’t received yet, have emailed C&A few times and waiting for reply. I am a senior solo and not sure how cost of ‘free’ cruise would be calculated with t&cs.

  4. Can someone please give me advice? I will arrive 25th June this year at Marina Bay Cruise :)terminal on Legend of Seas. Flight is Etihad to Melbourne 10.40pm. Would like to visit China Town and Gardens by Bay. What is best option where leave luggage, get to both these places plus Airport and shower? Look forward to any suggestions and we are both, my sister and I, early 60s. Wendy

  5. Hi Tim, I have also booked Celebrity Century Asia cruise 8th May 2015 that I bought as package - 3night pre cruise, 14night cruise plus return airfares with solo inside au$3400 which I thought was good price. Have used all my vouchers for Celebrity but have one for MSC which wont get to use. Booked 10night Divina Caribbean 11Nov 2015 which I felt excellent price for singles au$849 with member discount. Booked that cruise as doing 14night RCI Serenade Quebec/Fort Lauderdale that ends FLL 2nd Nov. and seeing such long flight book another cruise while there - maybe book short cruise to fill in time between 2nd Nov-11th Nov.? Had to buy e visa for Holy Land cruise as starts Istanbul - was US$60 for 60days even though arrive same day as cruise starts. I know what you mean about US Immigration, photos, fingerprints etc. Your yacht/cruising sound amazing and hopefully get some great solo prices soon!!! Wendy

Hi Wendy! I also have a future cruise voucher for Celebrity which I fully intended using on a repo. The problem is all Celebrity repos involve the U.S. at one end. My last three experiences of U.S. Immigration has been so tortuous and degrading I vowed never to return at least until assurances can be given that things have drastically improved. Hence, I am waiting for a good value for solos, which probably means a repositioning, cruise with Celebrity which is not to or from the U.S. To or from Australia or the Far East would be perfect.

    Enjoy your cruise season!

  6. Hi AmoMondo, yes I have 3Celebrity cruises this year, 12night South Pacific 10-22October, 11night Holy Land 25Oct-5November and 16night Transatlantic Rome/Fort Lauderdale 5-21Nov. All booked with future cruise deposits bought

last year and good single inside prices. Only home for 2nights from 1st cruise until fly to Istanbul to start Holy Land. Air fares expensive here for long overseas flights. Your next month trip sounds fantastic - pity I wont be home as may have met you somewhere. Love resorts on Denaru - cruised there couple years ago. If want email is wendy underscore at yahoo dot com

  7. Thanks Tim and Paul for posting photos. Although still cruising on Armonia - today Piraeus and only one more port, Split before cruise ends, photos bring back wonderful memories of places and CC members.

    A future CC reunion cruise?

Tim the Dubai to Fremantle cruise increased by au$2000 and l'm waiting for cruises from Fremantle to be released as only 4hour flight for me.

Overall looks like MSC prices increased. What dates is new MSC brochure for?

Elena, future cruise consultant on board Armonia has copy of Italian brochure up to March 2016.

AmoMondo l loved walking couple ports with you and sorry didn't get to say goodbye. Hope you enjoy your trip to HongKong, Fiji and Australia later this year and pity l will be cruising when/if you come to Melbourne otherwise would catch up. Wendy

  8. I keep getting the above message when I try adding my 2nd Celebrity Constellation booking manually. Have emailed Celebrity a number of times asking what message means but have NEVER received reply from them.

Plus have phoned frequently and been told "try again in 20minutes" or "try again in 45minutes", but still get message. I booked both back to back Constellation cruises direct with Celebrity. FRUSTRATED!!!!! Wendy

  9. Hi All, I have been reading previous posts with interest. Like some of you I wasn't happy with changes made to Celebrity Captains Club and feel should have started from 1st January 2014 - new program, new year!!!

I am from Australia and we don't get fantastic last minute deals on short cruises, where I've heard how easy was for some to get to Elite after only couple short cruises in Concierge cabin and no long expensive flights like us Aussies have to do for those last minute cheap Caribbean cruises. I have cruised 4times with Celebrity, 2x14nights South America, 1x15night Fort Lauderdale/Rome and 1x12night Rome/Venice. I travel solo, having lost my husband few years ago in car accident, so book either inside or outside cabins. After these cruises I had 8credits and am cruising Solstice 10December, next Tuesday for 12nights which would have made me Elite. I have 2 future Constellation cruises booked for next October and November. With converting credits to points, I have 265, includes 25bonus points, but after Solstice cruise, short 11points for Elite, but will be Elite next October. I am Elite with Princess and believe their Loyalty program fairer to everyone than Celebrities as no matter what cabin category, everyone gets 1point for every day cruised. Yes, does take many cruises, but not discriminated against for having only inside or outside cabin. Elite get free laundry, mini bar set up and depending on cruise length, free internet. On my recent 15night cruise this was 500minutes. I look forward to being Celebrity Elite but now book cruises for price and itinerary. Wendy:)
