  1. We know the op travel dates and probable list camera travel dates,  the itinerary, the ship, the ports, etc.

Assuming the prior cruises were the same destinations, and length of travel as prior cruises. I will search the Roll Calls and List and Found  when I can.

Trying to find the cabin number.

    It was on NCL

    Norwegian Sky

    March 2018.

I am hopeful we we can find them!

    PS

More on protecting your camera. We like the idea of a photo of your contact information.

  2. Lol, we are amateur sleuths who do this for fun. You can’t believe how many cameras we returned to their owners after years of being lost.

We are trying to get the man who contacted us to create an album and post all of his pictures other than ones with children of course, but he hadn’t done it yet.  Still trying to get more information from him  I think his departure date was 3-9- 2018 but of course this would be from the cruise before is our one before that.

I’m not counting on NCL or NCL lost and found to help.  I am counting on someone among the members of this huge group to maybe have traveled with them or know who they are. But I appreciate every bit of help I can get from you guys.

Not wanting to make this go viral just reaching out.

  3.

     I am a co-admin on a Facebook page.

One of our members recently posted about finding a camera on a cruise a year and a half ago. Their ship sailed March 9, 2018 and it was called the NCL Sky. The wife packed up their belongings and didn’t realize until unpacking at home that it wasn’t their camera (it was just in the closet with their belongings.) His wife presumed it was his.

Apparently this camera was left in the cabin from the cruise before theirs. He contacted NCL lost and found and other departments and NCL apparently checked the cabin number for four previous cruises and no one reported the camera lost or missing. If I were NCL I would’ve contacted  the last four occupants of that cabin.

If anyone can help search the lost and founds or the NCL roll calls, it would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps one of you lost your camera or know someone that did.

I will check in here and hope to find some responses, ideas, tips, or help.

Feel free to private message me if this forum allows. And if I get more details I will post them here. Right now there are two photos and I could post them here, but waiting for the member to post more pictures

  4. I was in E209 Golden Princess, which I believe is the same view on the Star and Crown. It was the least obstructed view I've ever seen. The way I found it was to type the room numbers into Google with the name of the ship. For instance of you type E209 Golden, or some other combination DE several posts would come up, pictures, etc. I can email picture if you are interested in that particular room. And you can search Cruise critic the same way. Just the letter and number. There is somebody that has posted quite a few cabin photos.

  5. I am one of the admins of the camera group attempting to reunite the camera with its' owners. I do not believe they actually lost it aboard the Constellation. It was found in Key West. The finder may not have been certain if they were actually aboard or just taking pictures in port. They sincerely wish to find the couple as do we. I have only seen these four pictures and have asked the OP to post the entire card into an album. We actually do a lot of clue searching and sleuthing for hints and tips like your excellent suggestions @travelinggirl70. But we need the OP to share more photos because we each study photos in different ways. Right now I am searching Cruise Critic, Craig's List, Bing, Google, Key West Lost and Founds, etc. And of course Celebrity's Lost and Founds. And @scubamommy I agree and in most cases would turn an item into the lost and found myself. Once we get more photos we will not rest until we get it solved!

  6. Do You Recognize This Couple?

Surely someone cruised on the Constellation with these nice people recently. They enjoyed their cruise and misplaced their camera in Key West. I am certain they would like their vacation memories back. The camera was found and we are trying to locate the couple and reunite them with their camera.

Can you take a moment to look at the pictures and see if you know them? Let me or MrsFixitCT know by posting here or you can pm me or I can provide my email address as well. Thanks for taking a look at the pix and for any insight.

  8. dbeckett, and a couple other posters wanted to see photos of the obstructed stateroom, e209 from the Golden when I returned. This would be the same as e210 on Golden Port side.

This was obstructed but not very obstructed at all and after a while I just didn't see the metal anymore. I took two shots from outside the cabin. You can see the obstruction (not a boat at least!). From a few feet away looking out, I didn't really notice the metal after a while.

  9. Mine doesn't work well at all. I just figured Norton's or something was interfering with it. Other countdown widgets from other sites work great. The Princess Countdown widget takes a while to load and the messages come up but it is sluggish and annoying so I stopped using it. I do; however, glance at a wall calendar every day and smile!!!

  10. I am booked in Golden 209 and found an interior shot from 'next door' and an exterior photo here at Cruise Critic. This appears to be the least obstructed of all and appears to have a strip of metal in front of the window but no boat. Here is a photo from Star Princess 212 (same as 211) and shows what is outside the next window (210 which is the same as 209). This is one of flowgto's photos that were posted at CC. If you look to the left you will see the apparent only obstruction. The Star is the sister ship to the Golden.

this was also posted at Cruise Critic and I would like to give proper credit to the photog but don't remember who took it. You can see the piece of metal and it looks relatively unobstructed.

I will post pix from this cabin when I return....

  11. Hi there.... When you go in March, could you please take a photo from inside that cabin looking out? It looks to be the least obstructed of the obstructed. I have seen many photos of exterior of e209 e210 on Star and Golden (same) and it looks like a plank in front of the window at an angle and not that wide. I have e209 on the Golden in May.

  12. I know e211 is like e212 but I am booked in e209 and there aren't photos for e209 or e210. On the deck plan it looks unobstructed, and from the exterior photo it looks like a metal strip is all that is in front of the window. Just curious if you had a snapshot of one of those. I guess it is what it is and it doesn't matter because I get to go to Alaska regardless!

  13. I had already checked out your photos a ways back and spent a lot of time at webshots enjoying ALL of your pix! Your obstructed album cut off at e212 which someone I am traveling with has booked. Do you remember e209 or e 211 at all? It looks like a board in front of the window. Thanks for posting your link and again, thanks for sharing all of your photos. i enjoyed them all!

  14. I did notice it was posted 2 years ago, but thought perhaps anyone 'searching' e209 or e210 would come across it and maybe post a photo. It seems the least obstructed of the obstructed! My son just came off the Island Princess (10 days in a balcony) and an obstructed view (all I can afford) seems to be worlds away from the pleasure of a balcony. Thanks for answering me....at least I don't feel invisible! :)
