  1. ,For us there is no going back to the older ships , The Jubilee  is a whole different level than previous Carnival ships ,Everything runs so smooth  and seamlesly , Dinner , then show in Grand Central  then on to the main theater  for another show , no more than 10-15 minutes between each ,   Food is over the top at all venues ... We will never sail  the older ships again !

Do you think she may been belligerent to the carnival security team?  Why wouldn't they just throw it away and let her board.  I find it hard to believe they would have denied her boarding over a legal substance that isn't allowed on board.  If you brought scissors or some other item not allowed don't they just confiscate it?

Because it is not legal on the ships ..  she tried to get by  and got caught

We are on the December 23rd sailing. Will be our first Christmas cruise, the wife just bought her Xmas pajamas, and getting her ugly Xmas sweater ready. Hope it's not canceled, looking forward to being able to go straight to our cabin being the first passengers on the ship should not need to wait until 1:30pm right?

Only if you are Platinum or Diamond

  4. We stayed in Key Largo the night before the cruise ,, We were right on the water , great music and food ,  It is 1 hr to the cruise port from Key Largo , Lot nicer and safer than Miami  , and cheaper to stay there We stayed at Snappers   Restaurant  and motel very nice place

My friend and I (both 23) want to cruise with her younger sister (17). If I'm understanding correctly, we can't as Carnival requires a 25 year old in a room with a minor. Is my friend able to act as a guardian even though she's under 25 because they're related or should we put our trip on hold?

Thought I'd ask here before I email my pvp the same question 😂

    thanks in advance!

Two 23 year olds can't book a room unless they are married   Someone in the room has to be at least  25 years old

Howdy. I will be cruising a partial transit on the Pride next year. Stops being Limon and Grand Cayman. I've cruised multiple cruise lines, but this will be my first post covid.

My covid vaccination card states the first vaccine  (Janssen) I had expires 1/29/23. I also had three boosters, 11/29/21, and 4/4/22, and 11/28/22. Would I need another vaccine to be up to date, or do the three boosters cover that?

I should probably do that precruise  covid test three days before embarkation?

    thanks:)

Nothing needed now ,   to cruise back to normal  ,no mask no nothing , Everyone can cruise !!

  7. Carnival has  around 7 BILLION in cash on hand  90 something ships sailing ,  They need to raise the prices of cruise's  , and open up 100%  with no testing ect Like Norwegian   has done to get back in the black , Chasing after the bottom dollar crowd with the cheap cruises will not do it ,, They will spend very little on the ship

Hi there! I am sorry, I am trying to understand your statement. When did they turn their nose up at the 30-40% of their customers? Are you referring to unvaxed?

Unvaxed have always been able to cruise. I think it was carnival that had 5% reserved for unvaxed folks right from the beginning.

I totally respect your choice to not be vaxed. But there are no masks any longer. But yes, for unvaxed there is still pre-cruise testing.

What I mean is that there is a large per cent of the un vaxed  ,not sailing , The reason is  the testing , Us and 2 dozen or more people we know who cruise refuse to cruise  till testing goes away ,It is unneeded ,  100,000 in football stadiums each week ,  Concerts ect no testing no mask  ,, , There are other vacations than cruising that need no test ect to go

  9. With Carnival basically  turning their nose up at 30 to 40 % of their  customers  , for not being vaxed , That is one reason for the fare  cuts in price ,They are trying to make up for lost $$$ , The crowd they are now getting ,  will not spend the extra money on  t shirts, pictures , excursions   ect  ,, That  is why you now see  all the fights  ects on the ships ,, We  are platinum and will not cruise till all test and mask are gone , We have dozens of friends doing the same ,, They can  either wake up or go bankrupt
