I am about to take my 15th cruise on 2/17.  I am not loyal to any brand and have yet to have a "bad" cruise...... some are just better than others!

can anyone tell me if they have the table game Ultimate Texas Hold'em  (UTH) in the casino  on the Emerald?  

we had him booked for this Thursday 2/16 and after reading the recent post here I have been trying to get a confirmation from him. Multiple emails and phone calls without a reply. We are now scrambling to find another source only 2 days away from our travel.

we made reservations with him a couple months ago for our upcoming trip this Thursday Feb 16th. Have tried multiple times to try and reach him via email and phone with no response. So here we are 2 days away scrambling to make other arrangements for our party of 6. Unacceptable and cowardly business practice.

I was just on Silly in Feb and sailed FOS last winter. FOS is definitely more lively. Our Silly sailing was definitely an older crowd and much much less activity. Depending on what you prefer. We are not huge partiers but still enjoy a more lively and active ship after dinner. We found ourselves bored at times on Silly even during sea days at the pool, very little activities that got the crowd involved. Just my opinion.

We have 6030 on the summit booked for feb 16 and our friends have 6028. does anyone know if the dividers can be removed on the sweet 16 cabins just like the other balconies?

Thanks again AOS. I have departed from San Juan before but never have stopped there as a port stop. We are arriving at 3:00 pm and departing at 9:30 with no excursions planned. Do you have any suggestions? I have cruised many times and have 2 other couples who are joining us for the first time. We are thinking of just walking to old San Juan, doing a little shopping and lots of bar hoping....

Fat Tuesday is not a big celebration here, if at all. There are some minor carnivals around the island, but not in San Juan. We're still recovering from the Christmas Season (Thanksgiving through the San Sebastian Festival), which is just over.

Our ship will be stopping in San Juan on Fat Tuesday (mardigras) . Do any of the bars do anything special or celebrate this in San Juan?

I have only used it twice and never had an issue. both times were in florida. I would think it would be pretty difficult not to honor if you had a confirmation printed....

I am cruising Silly mid Feb on same itinerary. I want to do the same type excursion as you and researched for hours. I found that all of the companies that offer catamaran's on the island are contracted by cruise ships and will not let you book directly. The only way to book is through the ships.
