We did the Jewel tour with Donaldson over the holidays. There were 23 of us from a 2 year old to us grandparents. He was the best. Make sure you bring water shoes, those that did not truly regretted it. It is a hike up to the falls and down to the spa, not strenous, but can be slick on some of the rocks etc. He was so helpful, making sure everyone got through easily and did not rush us. He was the best, we had 2 drivers and they made it the best tour we have done in a long time in the caribbean.

We just booked him for the 30th when we are there wth 14 of us on the adventurer. Question for the falls, gorge and emerald pool- does anyone recommend water shoes?

Wes stopped at TOrtola this year on teh Serandade and had THE WORST experience ever. The transporatin on the water taxis was horrendous- the operators were rude and crude to the tourists. At the beach, we were constantly hounded by people selling drinks and food- adn if you did not buy, they mumbled obsecnities under their breath. Even some of the cruise staff told us that night, they hated this sop and would not get off in the future. We asked for a stop on the water taxi back to the boat - to stop in town to let us off to go to the market, and then three different taxi drivers had to argue for 10 minutes, which boat we had to take to go there, we finallyh just said forget it and went back to the boat.

BY the way- we love Aruba- the shopping, the beach etc are great.

I have RIL booked for our May 23rd Voyager Cruise on RCL, for both Florence and Rome, based on everyone's reviews. But have had minimal talk on our M&M board, so no takers yet, They are expensive for jsut 2 of us so looking fo 2-3 more couples. Anyone have ideas on how to attract people?

We have found 1 couple for Naples, but could use 1 more and need to find some fun friends for the other ports too- I agree these private tours are great, but the cost for two is a little over the top

I have heard great things about RIL, but also have gotten some quotes from All around Italy- Fabrizio, he is slightly less 500Euro vs 550E for 6 people. Has anyone used this service?

Thanks all we are on a med crfuise May 23rd and not gotten anyone yet to join us on tours, I am holding one in each city + a guide for Pompeii and the Vatican. Guess i am too early in getting people to join us, guess I am just to anal and organized, will wait a month or so before I get worried.
