Also have you been able to get your vaccinations yet?

Hubby has had his first one, because he works for the out of hours doctors. God knows when I will get mine. 😉😞

Which ship what date would be useful

Voyages departing onboard the Queen Mary 2 up to and including May 28, 2021 and onboard the Queen Elizabeth up to and including June 4, 2021 are now cancelled.

Departures on the Queen Victoria remain unaffected and are scheduled to resume May 17, 2021.

Ok thanks,... Queen Mary 2, May 14th,  😟

I agree Victoria, you've got to look on the bright side. My wife and I are booked on Queen Elizabeth for 2 weeks, out of Southampton on 14th June 2021. If the cruise gets cancelled, we'll simply transfer cruise credits to 2022.

Got one bit of "REAL NEWS" from Cunard yesterday "When you made your booking we would have advised you that the full balance for your holiday is due 90 days before departure. However in light of the on-going situation regarding Covid-19 and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance on cruising, we wanted to reassure you that we will only recommence sailing when it is the right time to do so. We have therefore taken the decision to relax our balance due payments terms to 30 days prior to departure, meaning you now have a little more time before you have to pay your final balance"

Both Real news AND  good news

We had our transatlantic cruise cancelled last Sept, we moved it to May this year, had to pay an extra £260 by 7th Jan..  which we paid. Im wondering why we never got a message from Cunard.. Im confused!!

  4. Have you already booked? If yes, then go to MSC website and log in with your booking number. From there you can view available onboard items (i.e. spa, drinks, internet, etc) available for your sailing.

Hi , yes we have booked, I will take a look. Thanks.(y)

  5. Hi, we are going on an MSC cruise in June. I was wondering how much the drinks packages are and which would be best. Me and hubby drink lager/light beers. I like the odd Vodka :D Hubby likes his coffee. We like a drink on a night but not heavy drinkers. Hope someone can help ;p

  6. Anything for a fellow Cumbrian! :D

Friends have been on a long MSC cruise from Venice to South Africa, and have enjoyed it... it's just different customs, but very friendly people. A lot of pasta... ;)

Thats good to know, thanks, :) I quite like pasta ;)

  7. Thanks ALL for your replies. Dates range from 28th May to 18th June, Price... From £1,200, RCL.. £1,329 with free balcony upgrade, MSC.. And £1829 NCL.(June) Inside cabin.

Staying at Lake Garda for 3 nights, Venice for 2. Itineries are mostly the same. All 12 nights.

I know the MSC looks the better deal, but heard lots of bad reports about bad /cold food. Noisy and staff being unfriendly.

I have cruised before with RCL.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks again

  8. Iam thinking of doing a cruise and stay next year. Lake Garda and Venice then med cruise. I have 3 cruises in mind. RCL, NCL and MSC. Wondering if anyone can give me information on these please. I have read mixed reviews, so wondered if any of my cruise critic friends would help. All different prices and dates. Which is value for money?

    Thanks in advance. :)
