Has been a while!! I began by donating my own gowns/cocktail dresses here. From there I became an EBay seller with good success....

Thank you so much Marie. I am glad that you seem to be feeling better and I hope you find something to help you sleep. I usually just take a couple of tylenol PM or benadryl and they knock me out. Maybe they would help you too.

Hi Shannon;

 

I am recovering very well. The doctor had to replace the plate and eight of the screws. Dr. Feit who did the surgery on this foot did a lousy job, he put in two extra long screws; that is why I had so much pain and could not tiptoe. Tomorrow I will get a new cast. I will ask my husband to pack the dresses and mail it to you.

Honestly Maria, dont worry about it. You need to focus on yourself right now. I am so sorry to hear that all your pain was caused by a screw up. :mad:

I hope that you heal quickly and that you can tiptoe all around soon. ;)

I dont have any to put up on the board just yet as I need mine for my cruise in July, but I got some really cute dresses at Ross and TJ Maxx for next to nothing. I think one dress that I got was like $4.00. So if noone has any on the boards you might want to give those stores a shot.

I am sorry for the late response. The loose screw in my right foot has been giving me a lot of pain in the last few days. I am schuduled to have corrective surgery to replace it tomorrow. I will be sending your Ivory and blue dress next week.

These three gowns are brand new. They are all size 8.

 

The gown below is ivory color, it is very beautiful grown, but it make me look pregnant.

 

 

This grown is green color, it is too small for my bust. I am 34 D

 

 

This gown is blue, it is also too small for my bust.

LOL, I love it. As you know, when you dance it consumes your life. Honestly, I wouldnt have it any other way. Unfortunately, bellydance costumes are not appropriate cruise attire. :rolleyes:

So sorry. I did find the dress I had in mind for you and oops, this is a size 6, and an absolute 6, would not even fit an 8. Not the size 12-14 that I thought it was. I love this dress so I attached a picture for anyone looking for a size 6. I did post a picture of a size 12 I have that is equally as wonderful. This one is ankle length with an print overlay on top of a few layers of chiffon.... It has fringe on the diagional. This however would not fit a 14, but 12 would work. An real slimming dress.

 

The other ladies... I do have more 12-14's but right now I am in tax season and cant get them out of the bins I have them in. If however you send me an Email as soon as I get a break and post pictures of the ones in storage I will Email you... It could be though close to a month.

 

I still have a few dresses due to go out that are still in my office... I promise they will go out soon, but right now my hours are crazy!!

 

For fun, I also posted a picture of a gown I am restoring... We are ballroom competitive dancers and this one I will wear for competition this week-end... Love this gown and thought you all might enjoy seeing it.
