What ship?

This is why those of us that work in customer service come across as dry and uncaring - day in and day out, people expect to be an exception to the rules and push the issue until they finally realize that they will not get their way or someone up at the top would rather not listen to the complaining and bends.
OP- nobody bullied you. The cancellation policy is all over the NCL site and is also in your booking confirmation email.

When we took our honeymoon cruise, I gave them $300 in cash at check in. When the balance got low, we would get a warning on our tv and I would go add more cash. I was never forced to put down $100 per day per person

I like a good split. Sea days means you can't get near the pool, but on port days I like to walk around and then spend the afternoon by the (quiet) pool.

If the price went up, you wouldn't pay extra. It's after final payment so there will be lots of price changes over the next 2 weeks so they can fill the empty cabins.

In essence we have been told that's the breaks, deal with it. Really? Poor business practice all the way around. So sorry your company and NCL can not see the unfairness of this situation.
Good grief, will you please stop whining. If the price had gone up do you think you should pay more??? I think not...........Thank you and EXACTLY.
You book the room you want at a price you are happy with. So somebody else got a good deal later on and you didn't? Tough. I did a B2B in January and got an upsell call during my first week I was gone. Since I was avoiding the crazy phone bill, I missed the call and got the message days later and missed my chance. DH and I were happy in the room we had.
Log into NCL and check prices regularly. If you see a drop before final payment, call your PCC and ask to rebook. If you are going to lose your OBC then it isn't worth it. I have seen the rates drop and called my PCC who said I could get the reduced rate but my OBC would be gone so it wasn't worth the change.
You can always book at the last minute to get a deal, but bear in mind you might get a room that is under a bar or has another undesirable feature. I like picking my room.

I am waiting for NJHorseman to show up in this thread. He knows all the transport routes like a pro and gives wonderful advice.

He was on the Epic in January.

DH and I usually run a bill of at least $25/each at local hibachi restaurants so I don't see why everyone is so crabby about the cover. I always order filet mignon. Mmm!

Topless and nude sunbathing are not sexual unless the sunbather intends it that way. The one and only time I was at a clothing optional beach was so much more relaxing than any other beach experience since the naturists were not there to pass judgement on other people's bodies but rather to enjoy nature dressed au naturel. Some were full nude, some were just topless.
And yes, sunblock is fantastic when applied properly and regularly. The Coppertone kids spray on stuff is amazing and even keeps me (a ginger) from burning even after a full day of volleyball on GSC. :)
If you are on the freestyle deck and feel that someone is there just for the peep show then you can dress, leave or report it. I would hate to leave what I was doing because someone was staring a bit too hard, but my husband wouldn't approve of me becoming spank bank material for some random cruiser either.

I am really particular about my conditioner because the wrong kind will make my hair dry and frizzy or greasy and horrible.
Bring a small bottle of your usual product.

Something I learned on these boards is to pack your bag. After you finish, remove half the clothes and repack. Repeat a couple times. I did a week long cruise with just a carry on and backpack.
Bring 2 bathing suits. You will always have at least one wet at any given time!

DH and I did cash down on our last cruise and gave them $300 when we arrived. When the account got low we just went to the desk and added more. Nobody gave us a hard time about $100 pp a day. It is a suggestion.
