  1. Was on the Explorer in December and only noticed it when the ship was stopped. The first occurence was in the cabin right when we got on the ship. Before I accused my wife of farting I noticed it coming from the vent, but as quickly as I noticed it it was gone. Only noticed it here and there the entire 12 days for just a glimpse. But it still seemed that it was only when the ship was stopped. Maybe it has something to do with the ships fresh-air system if it has it. Don't let it ruin your vacation, it's a beautiful ship!:)

  2. :)

Remember there is a $4.95pp charge for Johnny Rocket's. I'm pretty sure they had chili every afternoon in WJ.

Hi marci22, I know about the small fee at Johnny Rocket's and we'll probably go there a couple of times. Lets just hope the buffet holds up there end of the chili-dog deal. If not, Mom does not drink or splurge on spa treatments so the $4.95 may be worth it since I doubt she'll be running up her ship account on other things. Dad already said he'll be getting a cappuchino everyday anyhow.:)

  3. I also recall that there were chili dogs in the Windjammer during the late afternoon snack time (maybe 4-6p?). Actually, I really liked the selection at the WJ during the snack time. We always eat at the late dinner and we enjoyed having a little something around 5 to tide us over (because we sure wouldn't ever want to feel hungry on a cruise:D)

Thanks jeh4554, I will also keep an eye out at the Windjammer for chili-dogs. Come to think of it, I might join Mom for a chili-dog

    , I like em' too.

  4. Yes, you can get chili dogs at Johnny Rockets on deck 12.

Thanks Eric! I new I'd get a quick answer here. My parents have sailed previously with Celebrity and although Celebrity and RCL are under the same ownership there still are some differences. I was hoping they didn't get too spoiled on the Celebrity ships. I don't think they'll be dissappointed on EOS however, it's a big, wonderful ship. Now I know mom can get chili-dogs and we all can sleep at night.:):D

  5. Hi everyone. We are sailing on Explorer for the 2nd time. I don't recall from the last time, but does anyone know if there is chili-dogs anywhere on the Explorer? This time we are sailing with my parents and I'm really excited, and my mom has been asking about chili-dogs (it's her favorite afternoon snack), I'd love to tell her yes but I don't know for sure. Thanks

  6. This is why I love CC- tons of good info and tips! Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I myself try to keep my 'go get' list as simple as possible and get the items through-out the year (that is if your an early booker). The vacation savings accounts are a great idea too. We drank a big bottle of wine with dinner when we announced our trip at Mom and Dad's. We've since cleaned and dried it out and now stuff a $20 in it weekly.:D

  7. I've noticed snobbiness and rudeness here and there on the ship as well. One thing I realize is the fact that when your on a ship that litterally has people from around the world as guests and people act differently. When someone directs rudeness towards me I don't let it bother me too much, I just figure they had a rough childhood or are going through a rough spot in the marriage that causes them to act like that.

However, sometimes the people that you thought were going to be rudish turn out to be really nice once you start talking to them.
