Hi. Many years ago we took a Seabourn excursion, while in Venice, called  “”Murano Glass and Burano Lace”. While on this excursion we bought a beautiful mirror that unfortunately has gotten a piece broken off the frame.  We are going to be in Venice next week and would like to bring the mirror to the original factory/store to see if it can be repaired.  Would anyone know the name of the glass factory in Murano that Seabourn uses for this excursion?  Sadly, Seabourn will not give out vendor information. Thanks for your help.

We are getting ready to leave for a Caribbean cruise on the Star Legend next week, as our cruise on the Star Pride to Costa Rica was cancelled. After reading all the above posts, I emailed Voyage Services and here is the response I received yesterday:

"I want to inform you that you will be able to explore Pigeon Island on your own and that you should have an opportunity to visit the Bitter End Yacht Club. While this is subject to what the harbor master tells us we are planning on allowing visits to the yacht club."

We can only hope that this is true...If not like lesliew said above, we too will just have to suffer by being on a private island with a beautiful beach and BBQ!

Hi. I am sailing on the Star Legend at the end of the month to the Caribbean and I was hoping that someone, who has already sailed on this yacht, would explain the pool situation. I looked at the deck plan and it appears that only the Star Pride has a hot tub and then there's something labeled a current pool?.. I sailed on this yacht when it was owned by Seabourn and at that time it had a hot tub and a plunge pool. Is there anywhere to just cool off if you are sitting out on the deck? Thanks

Just heard from my TA as well. Your info is spot on...plan B it is! I'm really disappointed but we are going to do a land tour of Costa Rica instead. Also, a little bit bummed that they didn't offer us anything toward a future cruise for the inconvenience. Oh well....

Hi. I am scheduled to sail on the Pride on January 30th. Both myself and my TA called Windstar today and we both got the same reply. We were told that as of today the January 30th cruise is still on. If anything changes the Windstar rep said I would receive an email. I wonder if Rainier73 received an email? Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed but also making contingency plans as well!

just an FYI - when we disembarked in Istanbul 2 summers ago Seabourn charged us $30 per person for our visas - all in all, not that bad if you can't get to it beforehand.
