  1. Don't you think it is a little hypocritical to get offended by the comments you overheard from men on their balconies when you report with amusement that your son was giggling out loud at the expense of people that were simply inexperienced cruisers. It's funny when your son laughs at people who's only offense was asking a customer service person at guest services a question.

Maybe if the big Texan or the woman looking for her luggage post a review they will state how offended they were when a young man was giggling to the point of tears at their inexperience, while his mother looked on.

I was thinking the same thing. The Y'all comments kind of perked my ears up but then I just said "Bless her heart" and kept reading.:p

  2. Well at least with your $17 wrap you weren't breaking any laws.... In MANY ports it is ILLEGAL to bring meats, fruit and other unprocessed food into the country. So, be happy in the fact you're not a scoff-law.

I don't really have any clue. I know when I'm craving potato chips on board I just call room service and ask for a plate of them to be delivered if the dining venues are closed. I guess some people are just too lazy or shy to wander out to the buffet and grab something. :D

    Wow!

  3. Bubbles!!! So your kids (and yourselves) can enjoy blowing them off your balcony or off one of the decks at the sail-aways. My cruising friend and I are retired elementary teachers and we enjoy blowing bubbles, since we can't throw confetti off the ship any more.

I did this with my kids and a bubble went into a guys drink below us, He yelled at my kids and poured his drink out. It got all over the person below him and she started yelling. Never again! lol

  4. I have booked Victor for our cruise in March. We're planning on doing the ziplines, touring the area, and going to his house to see the animals. Though most posts on this board RAVE about Victor and his guides, I have read one post saying they did not like the tour guide they had.

If you used Victor, did you love the guide? If so, who did you have? & finally, does anyone know if you can ask for a particular person?

My rule of thumb is if 100 people say they are wonderful and one says nothing but bad things, these people are very had to please and look for the worst in everything....Not always but most of the time. We went in June lots of monkeys around 5 or 6 and 4 tiny baby monkeys. Also a few birds. We are going again in Feb. 2011 and plan to do the same thing. (Zip and Dip) BTW It was over 100 degrees out there so it is hard to keep any vehicle really cool. If you get to the van first get in front. This was the most fun we had the whole trip.
