Anyone know what the officers and crew would have been doing while they await the removal of barnacles?

I understand ship maintenance would be up there, but what about servers, wait staff, spa and shop employees.  Have they had this time off?

Where was the dry dock located to remove barnacles?

Peteymil, do they still have the Elite Cocktail Hour where you can sit in a private area in the Sky Observation Lounge where they serve hors d'oeuvres?  Or is it just an open bar concept throughout the ship now?

Paul, I think you have hit the nail on the head. I noticed this in the last 10 days as it was working well prior to that.

Someone with editing access may have filtered columns A & C therefore denying us the ability to view.  Now if someone can correct, I would be happy!

For those that were on this sailing out of Vancouver Canada, how was this cruise?

Any comments relating to food, service, weather,  number of passengers, COVID protocols would be appreciated.  Did the barnacle issue impact your cruise in any way?

Has anyone else had problems with obtaining the spread sheet for Solstice Class Cabins?  When I click on the link all it gives me are about 10 cabins for Celebrity Eclipse that cruisers have made comments on in 2019.  If someone can provide me with instructions or knows how to correct will be appreciated.  Thank You.

Had booked an Alaska cruise for last September 2021.  Received notification from Celebrity and Travel Agent that all Alaska Cruises were to be cancelled re Covid 19. I paid my deposit and this was transferred to another cruise for later in 2022.  Would I have been eligible for the Future cruise credit that I have seen others receive or did that only apply to those that had paid in full prior to cancellation?  Thank you. 

My wife and I would like to travel to Narita airport and store luggage in a locker until flight back to Vancouver Canada. We would use 2 backpacks for local travel. Our thoughts were to try and find an organized tour company that would travel to various locations in Japan with hotel stays for 3 - 4 nights.  We would then fly back to Vancouver from Narita. It would be a shame to travel to Japan get off ship and fly out so soon without seeing more of the country.  Any bus tour companies and any prices would be helpful. Others have mentioned that Celebrity offers a bus that does a city tour then drops passengers off a Narita, any idea on what the cost of this service may be and the length of the tour in hours?  I understand that prices have gone up in the last 2 years during the Covid 19 period but can factor in the budget increases.  Many thanks for those that have posted, it appears others have booked this cruise already.  With cruise, flights and land based tour this vacation could get up there in price. Any help in assisting us in making our decision are greatly appreciated.  Thank You!

Can anyone provide info on how this cruise went for them.  Comments relating to specific activities that the ship offers for the many sea days (11 days) crossing the Pacific. Are the bars and lounges busy and do you have to fight to get a chair at the solarium as I would assume that the open decks would be to cold for many?  I am familiar with regular activities that the ships staff put on but are there any different activities for a long cruise.  Have you noticed different dining menus as the ship cannot really replenish until it arrives in Japan.

One last question are there any 3-4 day mini bus tours that one may be able to book in Japan and then fly home and is this expensive?

Can anyone who has cruised this direction previously speak to choosing Port or Starboard cabins on this western transit?

With 9 sea days after departing Sitka Alaska on the Pacific Ocean, am wondering what is the best side of the ship for this west transit for afternoon sun. 

We are not interested in aft facing cabins.

Can anyone tell me if the price of booking excursions or ship board activities on Celebrity web site is any cheaper when booking while on the ship? If you have booked through web site and they are selling it cheaper on board the ship will they refund the price difference?  Not sure if it is me or not but prices quoted on Celebrity site are more expensive than what on board cruisers have stated they have paid on board.  Thanks in advance for any replies. 

Looking at visiting Cleland and wanted to know what others suggest, taking ship tour pkg, 5.5 hour tour of Adelaide city, Mount Lofty and Wildlife park. The 5.5 hour ship tour is $140 Canadian and the Wildlife Park entry only is $50.00 per person. So $280.00 vs. $100.00.  We would have to take public transit to the Wildlife Park.  Is the ship tour good value or is it better to do on own? It is a Sunday and private tours that I have looked at are fully booked and of course were less cost.  Ideas or suggestions!  Thanks.

Who is current Captain, Cruise Director and Captain's Club Host/ess.  What countries are they from and will they be on board end of Feb 2019? If not who is being replaced.  Thanks for any info provided.

Rose Dalisay Captain's Club Hostess where is she now? She was assigned to Celebrity Solstice for a number of years.  Is she still with Celebrity and what ship is she currently working on?

Looking at a Celebrity cruise that ends in Fremantle Australia and the flight to Auckland will depart Perth airport the following day at 7:00 a.m. Can any local residents or learned cruisers comment on the following questions as we would like to spend some time in both cities. Due to vacation schedule we would be unable to spend more days in either location. So if we are off ship at 10:00 a.m. how could we fit both cities in for a short tour?

1. There is a train station I believe across from where the Solstice docks.  Are there storage lockers for our luggage that we can rent?

2. Is the Celebrity dock/train station in Fremantle close to tour some of the city?

3. As we are departing for Auckland the next day 7:00 a.m. we would have to check out of our room around 4:00 a.m.. What reasonable priced hotel would you recommend.

4. Hotel shuttles or taxi, due to hotel early check out there may be no shuttles running at that time, are taxis difficult to obtain at 4:00 a.m. and what estimated price to airport? 

5. Would the 4:00 a.m. hotel check out be too early or just right to ensure 7:00 a.m. departure from Perth to Auckland?

6. How long is the train ride from Fremantle into Perth and cost per passenger?

7. Once in Perth should we check our bags at train station and do sight seeing and proceed to hotel close to airport or go direct to hotel and take transportation back to city?

8. Is the Perth train station close to city centre and tourist sights? If not what would you suggest?

Hello Cruise Junky...just left the Constellation site 5 minutes ago and could see all cabins unlike Solstice. Very strange!

I contacted a Travel Agent and they had no problem accessing the Solstice info as they were connected directly via a Celebrity TA site and were not sure what I was talking about.  I then asked them to enter Celebrity via a generic web site and they were surprised to see that the Solstice cabin info they had access to was not available for viewing.  I hope this will cleared up soon as it has been about 2 weeks. Maybe someone from Celebrity is monitoring and can comment!    

Is anyone having difficulties accessing the Solstice deck view section when using the "Choose your stateroom number" function?  This is the site when you are looking to see what rooms are either available, unavailable, previously selected or selected under the heading Deck View.  No matter what Solstice sailing I choose I am unable to see any rooms showing just a grey screen.  If I choose any other ship I have no problem in locating cabins.  If others could check this problem by doing a mock booking let me know what happens. The problem has existed for about 2 weeks.  It has nothing to do with my internet connection, refresh or cookies etc.  I have friends try to enter as well with no success.  Thanks in advance.

What does the "Special Offer" inside the green arrow represent ,when looking at the amount charged for various cabin selections on CC booking web site. I try to click on this green arrow but nothing comes up. Is there a place I can go to tell me what the "Special Offer" is? How does one know if their are perks included in a cruise selection?
