Caught the 1st ferry over; wristband stated 12:30. We rented a golf cart near the pier. Drove around for a while then stopped at Mariposa Pool Bar. Returned to the pier at 2:30, the ferry was loading no issue returning at a later time.

I visited Ensenada in March. Visited Las Canadas; Best ATV tour ever. It's about a 30 minute cab ride. Never felt unsafe.

Just back from Blue Kay. They charged $8pp which included pads for the lounge chairs a free drink, use of the facilities and Wifi. Not a bad deal.

Just Back from Harvest Caye. I took the 10:00am ferry over to Placencia rented a golf cart for $35 for 4 hours and spend the day at Mariposa Pool bar.
My wrist band stated 12:30 the tour operator stated that 12:30 was the earliest I could return. However she suggested taking the 1:30 or 2:30 ferry over and not wait for the last ferry.
We took the 2:30 ferry arrived at Harvest Caye around 3pm, spend the rest of the day at the beach.

We sail on Sunday and I'm SUPER excited! I heard back from Mayan and they are sending me the form you referenced. Thanks for your help!

We did the Aquafari at Pirate Bay Beach, a bit pricey but a great experience.

We did the Aquafari great experience.

I used Caribbean for a day dot com and it was great. I will say make sure you bring you deposit confirmation. Check in was a breeze. Had plenty places to sit close to the beach.
Not to mention you are near everything.
I would suggest eating before heading to the beach. Lunch is buffet style but inside a restaurant. Can not enter with swimsuit or wet. Beach Bar service was wonderful.

Still only accepted at exactly one cruise port: Port Everglades
Thanks for the info!

The RUI offers day passes at both locations. However it ends at 6pm

I booked Barceló with Caribbean day pass dot com; which only requires a $15 deposit. RUI only sells day passes. Our ship is in port from1pm - 10pm.

I have not used them before but try resortforaday dot com. Aruba is one of the destinations listed.
Hi all,Looking to do an all inclusive day pass. Was searching threads and some resorts are renamed, brand new, refurbished etc. I was hoping to start a thread with updated information. Look forward to your replies, thank you.

Can anyone recommend a nice all inclusive place to spend the day in Aruba with a pool? There are many threads on this topic but most of them are outdated or the hotels have changed their name and such. Anyone been to such a place recently? -
Visit the tread that reads Mambo Beach. I've never been but I've read it's $3 taxi ride with pool. Great pics!

Great printable map, thanks.
I was looking around the Curacao tourist website (www.curacao.com) and found this map when searching for the ship schedules:http://www.curports.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Cruise-Map-Downtown.pdf
It's only one page and easier to print and carry around. I did like the architectural map previously posted for the history and description of the buildings. I'm wondering if I could get one sent to me. We don't cruise until December, so have plenty of time.

Hertz has an office near the Long Beach Port on Ocean Ave. They will drop you off at the cruise terminal and pick up. Make sure you book the correct location. You will have to pay a drop off fee, I think it's $25 - $35
We are going to do a one way from Phoenix to San Pedro or Long Beach. Does anyone know if Enterprise is the only rental in San Pedro. If I have to drop in Long Beach at the Airport, what will it cost me to get back to San Pedro. We are staying at the Crowne Plaza.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much! I found Dollar, Thrifty and Avis online reservations was very easy to navigate. Alamo not so much.
Alamo, Thrifty Avis and dollar all have rental agencies at the pier and you can (and should) book in advance. Do not hesitate to get the local liability insurance! All of these firms have rental agencies all over the island.
For a local independent rental agency, you may wish to look into BoneFish downtown. Bonefish, as far as I've heard, has a good reputation. I think they have a page on Facebook. But do be careful in renting form the smaller local places as you could get scammed or poor service or added charges or poor vehicles, etc.

I've been researching things to do while in this port. The information is very limited; Here's a good article:

This is my second time visiting Guatemala. The 1st time I booked a cruise ship excursion. It was nice but I didn't feel as if I experienced the culture.
Here's what else I found;
7 Altares
Pacaya Volcano :)
Rio Dulce Canyon
Las Ecotour - National Springs Reserve :)
You can find reviews on Trip advisor just search Livingston, Guatemala. I hope this helps.

Are you traveling before or after DST? Private shore excursions are based on Island Time. Belize is on Central Standard Time; but does not observed DST, which if traveling from Texas gives you an extra hour. If traveling from Florida give you two extra hours?
What did you learn on your last Carnival cruise?
