I ended up with 4 extra EMED tests from my cruise that I'm selling back for $25 each if you live in the Salt Lake, Utah area.  Tests don't expire 05/09/2023.  Message me for details.

I have posted in facebook marketplace so you can search for "EMED Covid 19 Tests for Travel" and on the local ksl classified site.

Fyi: anyone unvaccinated (including my 6yo daughter) will be required to have a PCR test ONLY, within 72h, to enter PR.  This is a new requirement set forth by their department of health.

From the Travel Safe (pr.gov) site, it states "Everyone over 2 years old who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Moderna, Pfizer or Janssen vaccines, must provide evidence of a negative molecular or antigen test for COVID-19 performed within the 72-hour period prior to your arrival to Puerto Rico."

Royal Getting Ready to Cruise site also states:

    • Unvaccinated kids age 2 to 11 must show a negative result for a PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours prior to arriving at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan.
  3. We were originally booked on Oct 2020 Freedom but lift and shifted it to Nov 2021 and now this change to Explorer.  For those that received an email offering the OBC for accepting the change of ship (I did not receive this email), was this your original booking with no lift and shift?  Or do you have a refundable deposit?  Just trying to figure out why I never received an email from RCI about the ship change and whether I wanted to accept this change and why I wasn't offered OBC.  The only thing I received from RCI was an email with the new invoice and a slight price change because a new port was added-port fees.

After 1.5 hours on the phone, I was denied Lift & Shift for a February 2021 cruise. I was told that CWC is valid through April 2022, but Lift & Shift is only for cruises between now and September 2020.

Does anyone have a link or anything official that says 2021 cruises are included? The agent checked with a supervisor and the supervisor said it's only until September 2020, but I know from this thread that others have had success.

This was posted by someone yesterday.

    2. Do all sailings qualify for “Cruise with Confidence”?
As of May 6, 2020, Royal Caribbean enhanced our Cruise with Confidence policy to now include all sailings
through April 2022 (all open deployment) for those guests booked on-or-before August 1, 2020.

  5. We were successful in changing our October 18 2020 sailing from San Juan on the Freedom to November 14 2021.  We did have to pay the difference in the taxes/fees/port expenses but were able to keep all the original pricing (kids sail free/myvegas 10% discount).  It did have the 100 change fee but there was a -100 right below it.  It just only took 4 tries since the call did drop 3 times...over 2 hrs on the phone but it's done and are grateful they offered this policy change since we were worried about going in October.  Good luck to everyone else and just have patience.

So, if I have a San Juan cruise booked this year and they don't sail next year from San Juan, can I switch to any Caribbean cruise with the same number of days?  I am assuming this is a yes, but just confirming before I sit on hold for four hours.

Interested in this too.  We have same issue with our October booking this year.  The only same itinerary out of san juan is at the end of november which falls out of my 4 week window.  Ours was booked at GTY rate.  I don't see that option for next years options.

  8. We are currently booked for Freedom in October 2020 out of Puerto Rico.  We want to do the lift and shift but I don't see any October sailings in 2021.  Wonder if that will open up or maybe we are screwed and have to book for November to fit within 4 week window.  October is when our kids had fall break.

So can you use the OBC for casino booked cruises? I have over 200,000 points but stopped playing because I was thinking that it was pointless. We always book casino rates.

Doesn't hurt to try.  The worst is they will say no and you can get a refund of your loyalty points or the best outcome is getting OBC.   I couldn't find anything in the terms and conditions saying it cannot be combined with casino rates.  T&C says the OBC is combinable with "standard/full fares and restricted fares."  Here are the terms and conditions of the OBC from MyVegas in case you wanted to see:

Must be redeemed within 30 days of a new cruise reservation. Limited to sail dates within one year of redemption. Reward is applicable to new individual bookings only and is subject to verification. Only valid for new reservations made through Royal Caribbean Reservations at clubroyale@rccl.com. Not available for reservations made through online travel sites. Only one myVEGAS Reward can be used per reservation. Credit is in USD, non-transferable and shall not exceed $100.00. Credit is combinable with standard/full fare rates and restricted rates. Credit is not combinable with any other offer or promotion. Must be 21 years of age or older. Misrepresentation of reward will void this offer and re-fare booking to prevailing rate. Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Maybe we lucked out.?  I called to book with 10% (had to make the booking USD, the agent said I can't book in CND).  Spouse claimed $100 obc via email.  Doesn't hurt to try since you can get your loyalty points back if it doesn't work.

Lucky!  We both sent separate emails about 1 day apart.  The Club Royale lady responded to my initial request for 10% and approved it.  I think that same afternoon, she responded to my spouse's request for OBC and denied it stating that I had already received 10% discount and the offers cannot be combined.

We were able to last month.  You can redeem for 10% off and your spouse (separate account) can redeem for $100 OBC

Can I ask how?  My spouse has a separate MyVegas acct but the Club Royale said that OBC was not combinable with % discounts for the same reservation.  We had the same lady respond to my 10% discount request and to my spouse's OBC request.

yea I read all that thinking that was where i went wrong the last time i tried it. What sailing were you able to book and get this pricing?

    thanks

I just booked a Southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan, PR in Oct 2020.  We were able to get the kids sail free discount in addition to the BOGO 60 off 2nd guest, and whatever stateroom deals they were offering at the time.  It saved us lots of $$. A couple of years ago, I booked a Mediterranean cruise in May with the kids sail free deal.

I also booked a 2 person room for my parents for both of these cruises and the only difference between what we pay is the taxes and fees for the kids, so I know the deal is real.

What cruise are you trying to book and dates? Maybe someone here could try to steer you in the right direction,

    Sweet; thanks for checking!!
okay I’m only missing 50k coins to have 200k, I started playing like 2-3 weeks ago.
Just do it every morning for like 10 mins until I hit the limit for The chips and just collect the free coins every 2 hours, pretty easy.
First time playing slot machine well this is virtually.

Wow! It seems like it took me forever to get to 200k! Have fun booking your trip when you get to 200k coins!

Did you book a cruise using your 10% myvegas coupon? If yes this is great news! I was getting upset yesterday when I saw the must usefor sailings before March date because I want to book something for September 2020 now and the 10% was a big savings. Please let me know if they took it!

    Thank you

Yes I initially booked with RCI then submitted the code to club royale hoping it would be accepted.  Our sailing is for Oct 2020 so maybe Club Royale doesn’t care about the March 2020 date.  I think they only care that the sailing is 1 yr from when you redeemed the MyVegas reward. Just got a response today that they accepted the 10% discount and then casino royale repriced the cruise since the rate dropped, which was a much sweeter bonus!

My spouse tried redeeming a reward for $100 OBC but was denied since I had already received the 10% discount. I had a feeling we would get denied but it didn’t hurt to try it.
