  1. If I can add our experience to the discussion?...

Two years ago we booked on SD2, we heard there was a large booking about 70% of the boat booked by a company, an incentive cruise.

We were very nervous but decided to bite the bullet and go anyway. Well, glad we did go! The group turned out to be lots of fun! Met great people and really enjoyed learning about how this particular company operates. The people were very inclusive of the rest of us Seadreamers and we had great fun with them.

A very memorable seadream experience. You just never know who you'll meet!

    Just my two cents!

    Kathy.

  2. We just got off SD2,

Paid 129.00 for 9 days. WiFi was poor! Not sure how often you need to report into the office but my husband didn't have a problem finding bars or restaurants to keep up to date with the office on (most) islands.

We would joke at drinks vs emails it took him to answer! Haha!

    Some islands were a 3 drink/email day! ;)

  3. All we can say is WOW!

We had such a nice time!...staff were amazing as usual and we met so many wonderful people on this voyage! The passenger mix was the best we have experienced! O'Neill served us so well at the back of the boat. We spent almost every meal with him chatting and getting to know him, a real gem and wonderful addition to Seadream2. We will miss him very much!

9 days was a perfect amount of time for us...missing my bed and my pups!

    Until next time Seadream!!!

    Kathy, Danny.

  4. What a fantastic couple of days we've had! So much fun!

New Year's Eve was terrific! Dinner at the Captains table with Brother Hum and Blondie! They are such charmers! It was nice to see the Captain laugh and enjoy himself as well. Fireworks!, champagne and dancing to the wee hours!

So naturally, a nice Long Beach day in Anguilla was a welcomed way to start the New Year...found a lovely new hotel on Shoal bay beach (Moana hotel)? I think. Beautiful decor, comfy beach chairs and pool! So relaxing!...

Then back to the Yacht!...and that's where the trouble began! ;) yikes!

Not to worry! Danny tells me a good time was had by all! Hahaha

And Ho Hum did not witness a thing! So don't listen to a word he says! Haha

Today in St.Marteen was very nice...site seeing touristy stuff included was a visit to a butterfly farm!...so serene! Really enjoyed the day!

We have met such nice people on this voyage! So far! One of the best for us in terms of the passenger mix.

  5. K&D, glad you are having such a good time. Please try and keep His Nibs out of major trouble. Too many $1K bottles of DP can make him do strange ® things.:D Happy New Year to all and to all a good ROLL TIDE!!!

I'm affraid it's already too late for that!...ha! But we're making the best of it anywho! Lol will try to keep in touch after tonight but not sure if there will be survivers!? Lol

  6. Hello Everyone!

It's been a wonderful two days so far!...with a great mix of people on board. Really enjoying ourselves. We were sad to have missed Saba as we have never been but being in St.Barts for two nights more than makes up for it.

It's been fantastic meeting up with Blondie and Brother Hum again! Lots of laughs as usual! I just hope Ho Hum stops going on and on about that long walk!? And showing everyone all the ugly blisters on his feet! Really Ho Hum! I thought you had better manners! Hahahaha

Blondie as usual is on her best behaviour and has been kind enough to invite us to dine with them at the captains table tonight! So sweet! And of course we accepted! Who wouldn't!?

One Bit of news! They have my favorite rum! Yaaay! A very smooth top shelf Guadamalen Zacapa! YUM!

    Happy New Year Everyone! Xo

  7. Just wanted to add, that our Florida SD chums (who travel on ALL the cruise ships) said that WINDSTAR has "soul"; comprising as it does of crew of long standing and personality.

    Just wanted to be fair.

And of course they love Sea Dream.

Not so complimentary about "atmosphere" about one luxury ship though.

And just popped into the email folder is a message from Sea Dream.

Seems SD have been awarded best boutique ship (for SDI & SDII in 1st & 2nd).

And highly commended for food too among 4 others.

    Well done SD !!

The ajudicator from Berlitz visited the ship (SDII) when Hum was onboard: he deducted points for the behaviour of certain passengers (HH & Blondie) otherwise SDII would have been Number 1 !

Oooops sorry......... some people love Hum's singing and Blondie dancing on tables at TOYB !!!

    Ho Hum,

We have not been on every cruise boat but we have been on enough to know the difference! And Seadream certainly deserves the awards!

The perfect combination of terrific food, number 1 service and table top dancing extraordinaire! Haha...

  8. Blondie was Witness at Sanje's wedding (former SDII Housekeeper).

She also became "Godmother": second in line of importance after Sanje's mother !

She is now viewed as a family member !

She feels very privileged. H feels very privileged.

    What a wedding !

    Ho Hum,

Gorgeous picture! What a special occasion! Nothing like being accepted as family!...what an honour It is!

Danny and I feel that same about our St.Lucian family!

    Xo

  9. Brother Hum,

Thanks for the support! It means a lot! Xo

I must say...the Royal first visit was a splendid way to smooth the way ahead for Wills and Katie. Was so nice for the first Royal couple to share what they learned about the deep north...no slush on the boots or frost bitten noses, or moose attacks! And a great time was had by all! Haha!

    Ragnar,

The Galapagos sounds like an amazing trip! Did you get to see the Comodo dragons? It's on the bucket list!!! Thanks for the detailed info!

  10. Ho Hum,

Please count Danny and I in as part of the very concerned for SD1 and her crew! Never before have we felt so emotionally attached to a company before, ok we love a Sandals also...but Seadream has given us some wonderful memories and hopefully many more to come!? We went on a voyage on SD1 two years ago and the staff were nothing short of Amazing to us! So, here's to a speedy recovery!!!

    P.S.

I would love to hear that story of Sandy Lane!? Haha

    Kathy. Xo

  11. Oh Hum sees !

Jim to the rescue (yet) again.

There is actually a game called "Beer Pong" !

Ping pong balls are thrown into beer filled glasses etc, etc.... (for those that are as clueless as Hum or who lead an alternative life to hangin' round in "seedy" bars and instead devoted themselves exclusively to moral and spiritual advancement).

What a sheltered life Hum has lead whilst you chums of the world have much greater experience (yes including you, MACT ! Hum is sure you have one or two people "scratching their heads" wondering what you were inferring and then waking bolt upright in the middle of the night thinking "he couldn't mean, no, surely not !").

Well you cannot say, you dont learn something new on IJ.

    Whatever next ?

    The "world" awaits !

Heck our "you can cross that off the perversion list" has rapidly run out of issues.

    Or has it ?

    Yes it has !

    Brother Hum,

I should have been clearer on the details of the game...(a little secret)... I have never actually played it but, it does look like fun! :D

Jim, that's a challenge! For when we do actually get to meet.;)

    As for Mr. T.

He is making great strides in bring people together, he is a beacon of hope and inclusiveness! Finally a feminist in power...does the heart good! :p . It will take many more months and perhaps years to undo the damage the last of our Canadian Trump has done to our humble but proud country! were a patient group, we'll make it work. Make Canada great again! Haha!

In Montreal. Where Mr. T. Was born and raised...well, we have our challenges!

Like keeping our local politicians honest! It's not like we can stand them in the corner and say bad boy/girl, don't do that again! The Quebec politician is much more sly than that!...they are like little slithering snakes you try to catch...always popping in and out, darting left and right!...but enough about Harper...haha! He's done!

We built a world class hospital right here in Montreal! It really is beautiful!

The children's, the Neuro, oncology and prenatal...all the specialties wrapped up in one glorious building! Well, yes it had major cost over runs and yes, we had our local slimy politicians with their equally slimy contractors in their back pockets! The contractor who took this great city and tax payers for a ride, are now trying to sue the city for extras on the job!...hahaha.

But hey! How else should we get the economy moving along!? Haha...

Did I mention that we are building a fancy much needed new bridge!?

The Champlain bridge! Been in a state of disrepair with each new government passing the buck!...so, time for a new one!..much prettier than the last! And will be the tallest structure in Montreal apparently!? They say 4 BILLION! Ready and on schedule for 2018. If you believe that! I got some Mountainous terrain in Winnepeg to sell you! That's a joke! Winnepeg/Manitoba is the flattest province in Canada, so flat! you can see the color of your neighbours curtains four towns over! Haha!

    So, Brother Hum...

Are you sorry you asked!? Haha...

There's more, much more! But let's keep that for small talk while we meet on Seadream!

    Kisses to Blondie and yourself!

    Xo

  12.

Hahaha...hope to meet your oh so smart wife one day!...hahaha

December 3, SeaDream II. What do you have to lose????:D

Oh! No!... So close, yet so far! We are booked for New Years! What are your plans for 2017? Too soon? 🤔

  13. Yes, the ER Doctor did a great job stitching it back on. With the IV morphine going in, we had a great conversation and I told DW that "I love this guy". It works just fine, only 1/8" shorter (kerf from a carbide blade) than the other one.

Ouch!...are you in a new line of work now!? Haha

  14. Ho Hum,

So Jim does tricks with body parts also!?...do tell Jim! Hahaha

Well, I did cut my thumb off with a circular saw whilst working on a "honey-do" project for DW. After bringing me a towel in which to wrap said digit she pronounced that "stupid has a price".:D

Hahaha...hope to meet your oh so smart wife one day!...hahaha

Did the digit grow back? :eek :D
