We had key on Anthem 8/1 from Cape Liberty. Suite/pinnacle boarded and then they started row by row of diamond plus/diamond/key. We were gold status but had the key and placed in the 4th long row of seats. The key was not called out individually to board. They just stated they were boarding row by row.

Boarding was not the problem at Galveston it was getting thru security where only suite, pinnacle, and key guest were permitted in the priority line and everyone else was in another line. How was that handled on your Anthem cruise?

Then why do you keep posting to the thread?🤔

If someone bothered to read the small print on the RC benefits page regarding the benefits discussed above it states as available or something to that effect. Those benefits are definitely not available on Liberty out of Galveston or Anthem out of New Jersey which we are booked on in Sept. so who is spreading disinformation.

Thanks Ocean Boy for trying to reason with this individual but you can't reason with someone with an attitude like that.

So your contention is that by allowing key people to use those privileges that it was somehow taken away from you?

Well we had those benefits until the Key program started, now we don't and they do, so yes that is my contention.

What benefit did they take away from you?

Priority boarding. On our last cruise (our 39th with RC) the priority line for Suites, Pinnacle, and now Key members had 10 guests in it. The other line for everyone else had over 600. Taking away that benefit seemed unnecessary.

They also took away priority seating in the theater & ice show as well as priority departure.

  5. One person in our group is worried about not getting back to the ship on time. Were they prompt in picking you up?

Last time we went there was a mix-up on the pick-up time (there's a hour difference between ship time and local time) and our driver arrived a hour earlier than we thought he would. Instead of waiting awhile and leaving as I suspect some would have done, he came out on the beach, found us, and waited while we rounded up our party.

As far as getting back on time, you can check the time going and arrange a pick- up time that will ensure getting back in plenty of time. I would add a little extra as Mo Bay traffic can be very bad.

Also, I would be careful in Jamaica about jumping in just any cab. If you do take cabs, be sure to agree on a price and check at the terminal to verify reputable companies.

  6. We are booked on an Alaska Cruisetour on RCCL's Radiance of the Seas later this month. Our trip begins with a 5-day land tour from Anchorage. On RCCL, will all our luggage accompany us on the land tour or can one bag be sent on to the ship? We took a similar trip with Princess and we could send one bag to the ship but I'm not sure that's the case with RCCL.

  7. Participated in this tour Dec 2012 and watched family members in Dec 2011. Cameras are not allowed for participants or observers. Observers pay a small fee (I believe it was $5) just to go out on the dock to watch. Lockers are included in the price of the tour. The only thing I can say about the staff pictures is they are very good. They get several high quality shots of each activity at very close range. Buying a few individual pictures doesn't work either, they are so expensive the package price is a much better deal. If you want pictures, your only option is the expensive package.
