We just found out our upcoming cruise from Cyprus is an "interport" cruise, and we are aren't even able to see/book excursions. Are you able to see/book excursions on your cruise?
I can see excursions, drink packages, and internet packages. that's it 😞

I am sailing in June on an Interport cruise (from rome) on symphony. I didn’t realize this when booking, but figured it out when I couldn’t book the key or any dining. Has anyone been able to book the UDP onboard for an Interport cruise? And since it won’t link to the app, does anyone have any tips other than just getting the compass printed out? How do we book shows? Thank you!!

Does Enchantment have the reserved seating area in the MDR for breakfast?
-
Depends
Have you actually selected a check in time? You no longer just show up, walk in, and check in
yes, we have 1130. they may be closer to 1 though. is it okay if they are late for their check in time?

Sorry, if this has been asked and answered- I couldn't find it in the search option...
Can I check in without my roommate? She will be arriving an hour after me.
Thanks!

The 3-day cruise to the Bahamas on Liberty included a Formal night for us on our recent cruise.
But no lobster. :(
it did? oh, good to know!!
-
Oh, and has anyone had any luck getting their balcony dividers open in a connecting room?

Hello! We are taking a quick Bahamas cruise on the Liberty in a few weeks and have a few questions since it's been so long since our last Carnival cruise.
1. Does Carnival still have those delicious chocolate lava cakes in the MDR for dessert? What about lobster on a 3 night even if there is no formal night?
2. RCCL does an adult game show called the Quest. Does Carnival do anything like that?
3. Are there showers in the gym for public use?
Thank you!!

I just received an email saying that our July 6 cruise will now be on the Enchantment versus Majesty. We were told everything would stay the same (ports of call, cost, cabin category, etc.). Does anyone know how the rooms will be reassigned? Is it all completely random? If we are assigned a room in a location or deck we aren't happy with, can we switch it?
TIA!

It depends on the ship. Some ships have true Voom and some don't. We have great experiences on all of the Oasis Class ships but not on Indy. They actually refunded us it was so poor on Indy.
If you say what ship you are on you can get more accurate information.
did you have both surf and stream? we sail on saturday and purchased it for my daughter to keep up with her homework. i'm a little worried now...
thanks!

I think it depends on the ages of the guests.
If they are younger, I'd do option #2. If there are teens, I'd do option #3.
If everyone is an adult, I'd go for option #1. After room assignment, you can change rooms to be closer so long as you stay within the same category.

"kids sail free" is not always limited to just kids. It usually means any 3rd and 4th, etc, in the cabin.
If the price is still similar for the balcony, and you don't have cancellation fees, I would consider changing the adults into the RFS and the kids into the balcony, so that all the adults get the perks. Minor children will receive the perks along with the adults they are travelling with.
edit* I see you are just past final payment so there would be cancellation fees if you changed both people in the balcony. You could probably switch out one of the names though.
Thank you! This is very helpful! I will call and try. Worst they can say is no.

I understand that we can switch keys at GS once we board, my question is will switching keys allow the suite perks to the new guests in the RFS. Seems like the consensus is no, which I understand.
Not a big deal...just thought I'd ask :) we booked under the kids sail free promo which is why we didn't put all adults in the RFS to begin with.
Thank you everyone for your help!

Guest Services would arrange for you to change staterooms by either re-keying the locks or giving you extra keys.
However, they won't give suite perks to guests who are not officially booked in the suite.
That's what I needed to know, thank you!
-
Don't do this at checkin...wait until once onboard and request the change at guest services.
So if we do it at GS, they'll take care of it for us? Thank you!

we currently have a RFS (2 adults, 3 children) and an adjoining balcony (2 adults) booked for an upcoming cruise.
from my understanding, rccl allows minors to be in an adjoining room without an adult, so...
is it possible to move the 2 adults in the balcony to the RFS (and 2 of the children to the balcony) at check-in so all adults can enjoy the suite perks?
fyi, the sleeping arrangements would stay as originally planned. please no bashing. thank you!

No one can guarantee you or reassure you what your kids will or will not like, but I will tell you, in the reservation confirmation I got from Mark @ Maya Chan, he said this:
We are just a very simple funky beach hang out. We don't have pristine water since we all keep our waters natural. Just like it should be. We clean our beach of seagrass everyday. The Costa Maya Coastline is a turtle preserve. If you need to have a Disney created beach, stay at the Port, or go into town. In town, they use dredges and tractors to make it look better. If you want the real Caribbean experience, then our place is for you.
Thank you for your reply.
Has anyone taken kids and had any problems with the water conditions for playing/swimming?
-
Maya Chan sounds like exactly what i'm looking for: private palapas, all inclusive food/drinks, transportation included, limited number of people per day, massages on the beach, amazing customer service, etc.
BUT after reading reviews, i'm concerned about the water. We will be traveling with 3 young children. is the water so bad they won't want to get into it??
i'm looking for reassurance that the water isn't that bad OR recommendations on another beach that's equivalent of Maya Chan in terms of amenities.
Thank you!!!
