What's the platinum lounge like? I don't remember that in the past.
It is in Skywalkers. For Platinum, Elite or people in suites. It has Discounted drinks and some snacks.

I am 30 days from my cruise on the Caribbean Princess. I have been try for about a month now to book either Crown grill, or Sabatini's. In the app there has not been any available slots for either restaurant, on any day during the cruise. 1st time I have run into this. Maybe the cause is the premium pkg?
Anyway, what are the chances of some slots being reserved for people that try to book onboard? I plan to call dine line immediately once onboard.

How do you make reservations if it’s a pop up?
The nights they are open will be listed in the patter. Then just call the dine line, or maybe they will be listed in the app those nights?

Hi Patti. I came across your older post about being able to book 3 cruises once you get a free offer. I got that and see it in the fine print however, some say it’s not true. I will phone princess soon but thought you may have some insight. Have you booked 3 cruises with one offer? Sadly I’m trying to book one now and all LA cruises are sold out so I guess I’m SOL for this freebie. 😞 Thank you in advance for answering me. Jan G (grado on CC) sjgrado at yahoo
We have booked 2 at a time. Not sure on how it works now. We used to call casino number to set this up.

Never heard of perks in a mini suite. Other than Reserve class mini that gets priority boarding and club class dining.

So novice question here. On the slots do you earn1 point per play or is it determined in how much you bet and if so any info on how that works? Thx.
1 pt for every 3 dollars you bet.

I usually park at parkngo between the cruise port and airport. They shuttle you to and from the parking lot. Very easy in your situation with piers.

We have a week on her in April 2024. We were on her this past April also. That cruise was our best post covid cruise by far.

Speaking of…..does anyone have a suite room service menu?
Suites can get anything off the MDR menu. Including lunch and dinner.

I suspect this is more evidence of the whole staffing issue...
Nah, been this way for years.

On Dining room lunch, it is usually one of the mid ships dining rooms. So close to where you will board. Hours are usually 12pm to 1:30pm. Not that the hours are not adjusted for late boarding etc. On our last Caribbean Princess cruise boarding did not start until 1pm, so we barely made it.

The only possible correlation would be that there is no convective cooling from the air passing by the ship while moving.
And maybe the fact that ships are usually in port during the hottest part of the day.

Not that I know for sure, since we only cash out at the end of that particular trip, but I've read posts that said you can only cash out once.
I traditionally cash out each evening unless I have a very small amount in my bank.

Can you only cash out once at the end of the cruise or can you cash out each day at the end of playing, and reload if playing again?
You can cash out whenever you want. As long as the casino is open.

I just got off last week. Overall ship is very nice. Food this cruise was very good. Sabatini's was spectacular this trip. Crew was helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our toilet on the 3rd day. This was corrected within 2 hours. Ordering Food and drinks from the app varied from very quick to kinda slow.(Took 30 minutes for a lunch order to arrive at sanctuary. Note this was an app order not off the sanctuary menu.)
The bad was mainly embarkation. They were still under the Noro protocols with extra cleaning required before we got on board. We were notified the day before. We were able to board around 1:30 but rooms were not ready until 4. Huge crowd in all public spaces because of this.

Protocols are still in place as of today so anyone boarding Saturday April 22
-Double check your boarding time, may be delayed
-Laundry is still closed (self wash facilities)
-MDR is a better option for breakfast and dinner due to having to be served which is creating long lines in the buffet
It has still been a great week for us.I already have the email stating boarding starts at 1pm.

We really enjoyed the International Dining room at the rear of the ship. Note NOT the International cafe.

Are there many kids on this cruise?

Crossing my fingers but it doesn't look good. Every day, there are fewer and fewer balconies available. About 33 days out and bid is still "pending". Might wait until inside the 30 days to up bid by a few dollars. Happy where I am, but would be "happier" if my bid was accepted.
3 days to my cruise. Bids are still pending lol.

Regarding the casino, could the OP go to casino, "buy in" using the OBC. and then "cash out" for cash? I've heard some cruisers do this as a way of getting cash and circumventing ATM fees.
Yes you can do this. Just play a little between buying in and cash out. Nothing sketchy about it. You may even win!

We have been doing #3 for years. We usually book 18 months or so out. Make a deposit(Usually a future cruise credit) And make payments on the cruise whenever we want. You just have to be sure to pay off by final payment date.

Yes 5 to 7 I think? There should be an invitation in your cabin.
