Size was a factor, we aren’t fans of the mega mall ships.

We have sailed on Radiance before and loved the layout of the ship, food was excellent, friendly staff, but more than anything love her size, not a fan of the mega ships.  She is a little worn around the edges, but still beautiful. So looking forward to first week in September..here we come Radiance..

It's dated as 24th Feb should be 25th  2020 with RCCL on radiance.

We booked July 2019 and couldn't get a balcony cabin, so must be a popular one

Love Radiance, beautiful ship and not too big, you will love her.

Radiance of the Seas cabin 7540 is a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Private Balcony. Cabin located in the Forward section of the ship. The Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Private Balcony on the Radiance of the Seas has floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that lead to your private balcony, two twin beds that convert to a queen-sized bed, considerable closet space, a private bathroom with shower, as well as a living area with desk, drawer space, vanity, and sofa. The fact that Deluxe Staterooms have a balcony, sets them apart from standard staterooms. The interior of the room itself has 10% more square footage than standard sized staterooms. In addition, each stateroom also has its own flat-screen television, thermostat controlled air-conditioning, internet access, direct-dial telephone, radio, mini bar, individual safe, and 24 hour room service. Cabin Square Footage: 179 square feet, balcony 41 square feet.

This seems to be the only size listed for all balconies on deck 7 except for the Aft ones which have 45 square feet.

Many thanks MicCanberra, we have sailed on Radiance just recently and had a  Deluxe Oceanview with balcony on deck 9 forward, on looking down on deck 7 from our cabin the balcony looked to be larger as it extended past the ceiling.

  4. We were on Sun Princess last week. Cocktails AU$9.95 and $13.95. Cider $6, Prosecco $9 for a piccolo. BUT.......There is 'Happy Hour' 3-4pm and 9-10pm in the Wheelhouse bar where the second drink is only $1. They don't open the prosecco or beer bottles either. I stocked the cabin fridge for drinking on the balcony or during afternoon trivia. Drinks package is still $59 (no extra service charge either). We took wine aboard for drinking at the dining table. An extra bottle is around $40. Overall our daily consumption was well short of the package price without skimping.

Coffee card is $35 and with that you can also get free pots of tea, hot chocolate and brewed coffee, even if you are not buying a specialty coffee at the same time.
