I have been emailing and calling Princess regarding a long standing CONFIRMED contract stating we had PREMIER Package.   Now I have the newly instituted Princess Plus?????I was told the Premier Package only started June 26..My booking was last year???????I could not get any satisfaction other than to say we can UPGRADE for $25/pp/perday??????How can this be….Maybe a BAIT AND SWITCH????  I get no response to my emails….We have been sailing with Princess for over 25 years…Never had this problem..I can understand if this was a new booking after their NEW BEVERAGE plan was in acted in June 2022 but this was a long standing booking?????What is the thought on Cruise Critic since I get nothing from PRINCESS CUSTOMER SERVICE OR CAPTAIN”S CLUB?????

    I actually have one of the luggage tag holder in front of me.  The sleeve is 6" long but is clear on both sides.  So you just fold one of the tags from Celebrity in half and slip it into the sleeve.  Your name, stateroom number, sailing date and that diagram (I've wondered if the diagram is for the internal freight elevators) is readily visible.  And these tags have sturdy wire holders to attach to luggage handles.  They won't pull off very easily.

We sailed on the Regal Transposition cruise in October....and have reservations for the Enchanted in November, Transatlantic????, there is only ONE DESK chair......I need a CHAIR for BOTH my husband and myself to sit while cruising.....I may have to cancel my future cruises with Princess if the chairs are not replaced....

  5. We have been traveling on Princess for some time and it has been our favorite.  We are Elite members.....However today I spoke with Customer service, after my MANY letters went unanswered... I asked to have a chair in our balcony room.  I was told the rooms have been redesigned and all Barrel chairs removed.....I asked if two or three people in room WHERE WOULD THEY SIT.....i was told no chairs they have been removed.....If you look at the pictures of any balcony room....they ALL SHOW A BARREL CHAIR......However customer service said sorry...they are gone.   I asked how could this be done AFTWR FINAL PAYMENT AND WE WERE NOT INFORMED........My husband has a bad back....where should he sit on the floor????No recourse...I have several upcoming cruisesALREADY BOOKED...With no where to sit I will Be forced to cruise with another line to be able to sit on my transatlantic cruised....If I would have been made aware of this policy when booking I would have chosen another room...however ALL PHOTOS SHOW A CHAIR.....GOODBYE PRINCESS

  6. I cruised Alaska last year and was not at all happy with the condition of the ship.

     

    I would definitely NOT  go on the ALOHA deck.  Many complaints of mold and mildew...I had occasion to walk across that deck and was appalled with the odors and the fans in the hallways.. When I got back I confronted Princess with facts and pictures and was told they were going to sell her in 2020.  When I asked how they could sell cabins in this condition???they informed me ???

     

    I have not sailed on the Ruby since its inagural run....But my experience on the GOLDEN???i would not go back

  7. Just off the Golden last week...She is in need of help....I didn’t believe the reviews and booked Caribe deck..Balcony...The room was NEVER vacuumed. The repairs to plumbing were terrible....the dirt and scum let in bath after repair....Confirmed dining not upheld...and the ALOHA DECk. Terrible smell, mold and mildew, with dryers in the halls...and spoke to a couple who had smell and realized it was mold under bed......never would have believed it not experienced....have been on 14 Princess cruise and NEVER. Experienced anything like it...I would hesitate to book.....

  8. The Golden Princess has 1300 cabins.

     

    If this was an apartment house on land with 1300 apartments plus amenities such as swimming pools, restaurants, etc., you know that there would be daily calls to maintenance to fix some things.

     

    Chances are the Golden has less problems than a 1300 unit apartment building would have.
