We’re joining the Nieuw Statendam next week com 22nd May(Deck 7)

Has it been announced now many passengers are currently travelling on the Nieuw Statendam on the current cruise? 

The National Express counters seem to be closed at many of the UK airports currently, I can only assume this may be linked to when the Covid pandemic started? 

if you’re not comfortable booking online then you can purchase a ticket directly from the driver on the day, providing there are seats available on the bus journey you’re planning to take. It’s probably advisable to check the bus timing you’re considering via the website at Nationalexpress.com first to ensure there’s seat availability in order to avoid any disappointment.

Can’t believe RCCL don’t seem to have upped their game based on Compman9’s post and first hand experience on the ship just this week?

To be fair, standards of cleanliness in my experience with RC have always been high, but let’s hope that the numerous emails they’ve been sending to future cruisers recently as way of reassurance on how serious they are on the Coronavirus have not been sent just to avoid possible cancellations which so many are talking about currently on the boards.

No-one wants to end up in that horrendous situation passengers are experiencing on the Diamond Princess in Yokohama .......

You’re available to disembark at any time - we did a similar cruise last year and left the ship around 4.30am for an early flight. 
 
Taxi’s are also available and parked outside the terminal throughout the night so no issues.
 

It’s a breeze getting off at this time but you just need to be mindful of pulling your own cases off so you’re not caught up with the full disembarkation process.
