  1. We cruised over St. Patty's day one year. I made up a BIG Homer Simpson with a beer in hand and a sign in the other hand with a st. patty's shirt to boot. I also attatched a pen and roll of tape.

The sign said "steal me off this door, write your cabin # on it and let's see how many rooms I visit over the course of the week."

The last night we went looking for it, found it 4 floors above our floor, and Homer visited 220 rooms. The cruise director even made an announcement over the intercom about who's seen Homer.

    It was fun.

mind if I steal this? that sounds like so much fun!

  2. My theory is that if the Caribbean Pirates board (NOT to be confused with the Somalian ones- rather the ones starring Johnny Depp) then you are the one that walks the plank. So my son sails home with a great story about how mom had to walk the plank.

So, since I have the star, I get to meet Johnny Depp  Wow, carnival is da bomb! Wait 'til I tell everyone JD is going to be on my cruise......

  3. Did this come with the hard liner or just as it is. A lot of the ones I am seeing come with the hard liner so I don't think they'd be waterproof without it.

Mine has never leaked nor sweat. No hard liner, there is a piece that fits in the bottom to keep it square, but I have never used it. There is a pocket on the side that we use to keep things cold but don't want to get wet. So far so good.

It's a Coleman, so I believe the quality is quite good, and it's pretty enough that I can use it for other purposes

This is what I have, use it for my carry-on, (soda, wine, clothes, etc..) then have it filled with ice once in the room. Folds down to fit in your suitcase, and has successfully made it through as checked airline luggage when I have run out of room. Picked it up at Walmart for about $20

has never leaked and the ice will last 2-3 days if you keep it closed.
