  1. Very excited to be joining the Pacific Explorer from the UK for the 30th August Great Barrier Reef Cruise. Never sailed with P & O before so hopefully someone can answer the following for me?Any idea of WIFI package costs?

What will the electrical sockets be in the cabin?

    Any formal nights?

  2. Did your foodie tour in Bar Harbour include Maine Lobster? Can you give me the name of the tour? Did you book it ahead of time, or did you just find it when you got off the ship? Thanks so much!

Only lobster roll (1 each) we also had blueberry cake and coffee, crab cake, popcorn, duck fat fries and beer and then finished off with some balsamic and olive oil tasting. We booked in advance of the trip, just google Bar Harbour Foodie Tour. The guide was very informative. It was a very foggy day when we were at Bar Harbour and the tender process was beyond ridiculous, we only just made the 10.30 meet point because a very kind lady gave us priority tender tickets. We got up at 7.30 for early tickets and would have been on boat no2 which did not leave until about 11.am it was chaos. There was another couple from the ship who missed half of the tour because they could not get a tender.

  3. We have just come of this ship and this itinerary. We did the Freedom Trail in Boston which we book independently $12 per person, a foodie tour in Bar Harbour again booked ourselves $60 each, we hired bikes in Portland and did our own brewery tour, and finished off with a private jeep tour in Halifax which was fantastic, went to out of the way tourist places as well as the titanic grave and Peggy's Cove. Any more info you need let me know.

  4. through twitter but answer not clear, not sure if they meant just not to the premium package. My daughter tweeted for me and will ask her to seek clarification. This is very unfair for guests who at the time of booking got the free select and were told (even on their website until today) that they could upgrade on board for $10-15. It would have been less to book without the free select and then add on premium now. False advertising!!!

We are sailing on Grandeur OTS 15th September 2016, we also have the select package. We called RC and were told we could upgrade to the new package once on board.

    :)

  5. We are now at the end of our 7 day cruise on the MSC Posea, overall the cruise has been fantastic. Before we sailed I pre booked 5 hours of Internet package for around £18. A few days before we sailed we received an email from MSC to say that this package was no longer available. After a few emails back and forth I received a refund and booked the new surfer package which was based on mb usage and not minutes. When we got onboard none of the new internet packages were available and my pre paid amount not showing on my account. A few trips to reception I was told to buy the package I needed and the prepaid amount would show as a credit on my final bill. I opted for the 7hr package which worked fine for me, still 1 hour to use up on our last day. Our final bill arrived during the night and no surprise they had not credited off my prepaid amount. Again two trips to reception and we have finally got the charge removed. I checked my hour balance expecting to see approx 1 hour left to use and it's now showing I have 21hours! Msc are all over the place with this one!

  6. plucasana Does anyone know what happens when and if the limit of 350 mb/day is exceeded?

Having looked further at the packages there are additional charges in units eg 500mb 9 euros.

Just been on the phone to MSC to cancel my original internet booking and they did not have a clue what I was talking about. I was told to reply to my original email and ask for a refund. I can see this dragging on and on.
