What restaurants inside Skansen do you recommend. I have a family of four and need to budget for cost of lunch and plan something for a family of four that does not take too much time out of the day.:)

What is the quickest way to get from the Central Train Station to City Tram 7 at Sergels Torg? Our cruise ship gets into Nynashamn at 7:00am and we plan to take the train to Central Station and visit Skansen. If time permits we would also like to see Vasa. Is that feasible? We have to be back at the ship by 5:00 for a 6:00 sailing.:confused:

Our ship, NCL Sun, comes into Nynashamn and we plan to go to Skansen. We were going to get teh Stockholm Card, but it is not mailed out and you have to pick it up at the Visitor Center across from the Central Station. Since we could not use it for the trip in (even though it is covered in the cost) it would not be worth the cost for a 24 hour visit. So our next choice is getting the 24 hour visitor card that covers public transportation. Are those tickets purchased through a kiosk, or do we need to purchase it from station staff since it would be the first time use? Also, can you advise as to which American credit cards could be used at the station or kiosk? I am trying to plan for how many Kronors to take. Thanks

Ability to say no to all the extra charge stuff onboard, when there is plenty of free stuff to have a great time.:)

So the visa required when "On your Own" applies only to St. Petersburg?

Two adults and two teens seeking advice on see these three ports. We have splurged on St. Petersburg and Berlin and need a good value for these ports. Stockholm is from Nynashamn.
