9034 should be fine noise wise. Cabins on the deck above and below yours. We were in 9114 a month ago and had no issues at all.

When I asked the agent at Regent what percentage of the time they successfully tendered onto Easter Island I was told they didn't have to tender because the ship was small enough to dock. If I look at our itinerary it does not show an anchor (depicting anchorage) at Easter Island. That said, I googled Easter Island and for the life of me I can not find any decent sized dock on the island. I just may have to speak with another agent for clarification.

This is what Regent told me about their Jan. 21, 2021 cruise out of Lima. Can anyone confirm this?

I had concerns over booking the Jan 21, 2021 cruise from Lima to Auckland as I learned that many ships cannot tender into Easter Island due to wind and waves however I spoke with Regent and was told that Mariner actually docks in Hanga Roa. Has anyone cruised with Regent to Easter Island and if so can you relate your past experience?

Thanks very much.

We will be on the Equinox Feb 2 for a western Caribbean 11 night cruise. If anyone has been on this itinerary could you tell me which nights are the two formal nights.
Thanks

Are you sure that the Voyager qualifies as a "small" ship? Many times they are in the "medium" ship category. Could you link us to the results of this survey? Although I know they are skewed, they are fun to read.:)

Perhaps DaveFR is correct in his assessment of the survey. Poor reviews. Having said that, I still find the results upsetting.

Can anyone tell me why Seven Seas Voyager has been completely snubbed in the small ship category? Over the past years they have always placed highly.

We're doing a back to back next February with Celebrity. We have the same cabin on both sailings. When the ship docks back in Ft. Lauderdale to disembark and then load on the pax for the next cruise, we leave our room and belongings as is but we do have to clear US Customs and then get back on the ship.

If you book forward of the forward elevators, you will not feel it.
Don't you mean forward of the rear elevators? If the vibration is felt up to the forward elevators that would mean over thee quarters of the ship is affected.

I believe Regent does it's best to route a pax as well as possible. We are flying to Beijing in March and returning from Bangkok. Regent routed us as follows:
Montreal - Washington - Beijing on United.
Bangkok - Hong Kong - Toronto on Cathay Pacific
Toronto - Montreal on Air Canada
-
Thanks, we'll get them prior to the cruise.

Can anyone tell me if extra passport photos can be acquired on the ship? Does Voyager have a photo shop? We'll need photos for visas for Vietnam and Cambodia.
-
Can anyone tell me what hotel Regent uses for it's guests in Bangkok. We will be staying in Bangkok for one night after returning from a post cruise tour to Angkor Wat.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping another Canadian will advise me on his/her Regent air details.

Could someone advise me of what airline Regent used to fly you from North America to Beijing.
Oceania Decline
in Oceania Cruises
Posted
We have recently returned from an 18 day (BtoB) cruise on Vista. The ship is beautiful but we found it not quite as excellent as our many other Oceania cruises so I started researching reviews on Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn and SilverSea. Many of the recent reviews of all these lines complain that "it's not what it used to be". So it's not just Oceania that is receiving the poor reviews. All of the so called luxury lines are seeing their star ratings going down. It could very well be that the lines are having a more difficult time attracting staff.
We will continue to sail with O. We look for the small ships without the glitz, water parks and party atmosphere.
