I arranged a private tour with Go with Gus in Puerto Quetzal that was a fabulous tour. Gus met us promptly at the pier and ensured we were back in plenty of time (an hour before) our all aboard. The tour guide spoke perfect English and the driver was super safe. The guide explained everything we were seeing on our trip to Antigua which was much better than a "cab ride".  We saw the highlights of Antigua and even squeezed in a visit to the local market.  Our excursion included lunch which was the best one we've ever had a private excursion. I would absolutely recommend Go with Gus for any private excursion.

Claudia Vidal was absolutely perfect - we just got off Sept. 24th Infinity Panama Canal and used Claudia for a group of 11. Claudia's English was perfect and very helpful. Got to see great sites and had a great day in Cartagena with Claudia. http://toursclaudiavidal.com/index.htm

I can 100% recommend Robert Whitaker Tours email robtabs2@hotmail.com. One of Robert's tour guides David Clarke and driver Rodrigo Munoz provided our group of 13 an absolutely perfect excursion that included Agua Clara Locks and Miraflores Locks. He was completely flexible to what our group wanted and did not want to see/visit.

For Colon, Panama I booked a tour with Roberto Whitaker, who comes very highly recommended here on Cruise Critic and Trip Advisor. His tour really gave us a lot more insight to the Panama Canal. We spent a little over an hour at both the Agua Clara Locks (NEW) and the Miraflores Locks (OLD) plus a quick drive by of Panama City and The Casco area. It was raining so we didn’t do much here.

 

I highly recommend Roberto for those stopping in Colon

I know my response is very late but thanks for your recommendation of Robert Whitaker. We board for infinity for the same westbound cruise in one week and I’ve arranged the same tour as you had with Robert

We cruised on the Celebrity Infinity October 24-November 8. I arranged a private tour with Roberto, and it was THE highlight of the cruise, and this is no exaggeration. We chose tour 2C which included the Old & New Locks, and MORE. All communication with him was prompt. I highly recommend this tour. Also, I am receiving no compensation for this endorsement.
