We were reassigned to a Deck 12 Sunset Veranda stateroom on our September 2024 Edge sailing. These staterooms are right beneath the Oceanview Cafe patio. Has anyone had problems with these staterooms?

I have enjoyed the RCCL shareholder credit for about 20 years. I didn’t realize that so many others are receiving the credit. Anyone have an opinion as to how many cruisers are shareholders?

It was appropriate of Celebrity to honor International Women's Day and to trumpet its having made history by having the first American captain on one of its ships.
However, I was on a transatlantic cruise on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas, a Celebrity sister ship, in September of 2008. Our captain was a woman, one of whose parents was Danish and the other was Japanese. She did an outstanding job. I do not want to take anything away from Captain Kate but I think the Danish-Japanese captain should not be completely ignored, especially since she did her job without being surrounded by a female support group.

I did a TA on the Jewel of The Seas in September 2008 with a female captain. She was great. One parent was Danish and one was Japanese. I don't remember now which was which.

I needed a room for one night in FLL on 1/21/16. No luck with Priceline. My last rejection was for $135 for 2 1/2 stars in downtown area. Saw the Victoria Park Hotel on hotels.com for $139 so I took it. Rated #6 of 135 on Trip Advisor.
Today I see the hotel for $125.10 on booking.com. Story of my life.

I made a deposit today on the Rotorua Highlights tour for Friday November 15, arriving in Tauranga on the Celebrity Solstice.
I didn't have much information to go on, but from the website and their emails it sounded like they were committed to providing good service.
If your cruise is far enough out I can tell you about our experience with Hinterland after we return.

We will be in Colon in March 2013 on Equinox and are considering an MFM tour. The Rainforest , Fort and Canal tour sounds good. We wondered how much time is spent sitting on the bus looking out the window and how much time is spent outside of the bus on your feet? Do you actually walk through the rainforest?
Are Cruise Lines Providing Extra Security for Excursions in Mazatlan?
in Mexican Riviera

We will be on Celebrity Solstice next week. We are considering a ship's walking tour in Mazatlan. We see that that the US has a red "Do Not Go" travel advisory for the state of Sinaloa. Have any of the cruise lines been providing extra security for their excursions in Mexico, and especially in Mazatlan? Your feedback here will be greatly appreciated.
