Sorry, but I wanted to correct you. Carnival is the most relaxed with NCL following for anything goes with cut-offs, t-shirts, baseball caps etc.
If you are wearing long pants or jeans, and a nice polo or something similar, than you are fine. You will very seldom see t-shirts, and I have seen people get turned away for shorts and other inappropriate clothes.
The reason I ask is because on princess and Holland America the men in our party wore suits on normal nights and of course tux on formal nights but they did feel overdressed as most men seemed to wear long trousers and just a open neck shirt or polo shirt ( we all like to dress up, as this part of cruising that we really enjoy) but the men don't want to overdress and stick out. I have never been on a ROYAL CARRIBEAN cruise before, my comment was based on what I have read and I stand corrected and thank you for your comments.

Hi could anyone tell me what the dress code for men is in the MDR on non formal evenings?
On previous cruises the men in our party have been "suited and booted" but have sometimes felt overdressed- I have heard that RCI are more relaxed than other lines.
Thank you

Hi,do they do any themed evenings on legend? Such as Caribbean or beach party- we are traveling Singapore to Hong Kong 21/10/15 - only been on two other cruises but both did themed nights - just want to make sure we have the right attire -thanks lorraine

Thanks for your replies - it was the act of "afternoon tea" (silver service, sit down, dress for) was what I was looking for - princess and Holland America both had them in the carribean on previous trips - never mind, sure there will be lots of other things to enjoy inc the formal nights.

Hi please could any one tell me if we need to have a visa to to travel to Singapore and Hong Kong for our trip in October, we are on the legend of the seas.
I have googled it most sites say we don't need them but I have also read that we have to send of passports to the appropriate embassy's and others say they do them on board! So starting to get a bit confused - thanks

Thank you - will try my very hardest!! Lol

Well everything really drink / chocolate/cold drinks for night time - have always had a fridge on other cruises and just about every hotel we have stayed in- paying this sort of money I would count it as a basic feature.

Unfortunately, many of the reps @ Royal don't have a clue what is, or isn't, on a ship. Having recently disembarked Legend, I can assure you, there was no fridge in our deck 6 balcony cabin. Also, as stated by Scotland01, storage is very limited.
Hi after reading your comments on here, one of our party contacted our t/a and they informed as that NO there is not a fridge supplied on deck 6 ( after RC stating that there was!) and we would need to upgrade to deck 7 at the sum of £3940 per cabin !!!! That can't be right can it!!!! Sad state of affaires when their own staff don't know what is and isn't included - and t/a wanting nearly as much as the total cost of the cruise for 2 people, just to upgrade one level- stating to regret booking this company- should have stuck to princess - thanks for you help.

Hi we have booked balcony cabins on level 6 and we didn't think there was a fridge, but we contacted royal carraibean and they said our cabins have a dry fridge provided - hope thís helps
