  1. Does anyone know if the Cove balcony partitions can be opened on the Vista?

Yes they can, we just sailed in 2308. My parents were in 2306. We were able to open the partition between our rooms. It was so nice!

We love coves! We have our third one booked for the Magic next March. So close to the water. We saw flying fish and even dolphins jumping through the waves in the middle of the ocean. So nice to only go up two decks when coming back from port. Our room this past March did not have life boats above it. It was also super quiet. Plus we like the extra excersize when going to higher decks. We always take the stairs. As long as the ship has coves that's where we will be.

  2. FYI I just happened to check and the March sailing FTTF is sold out!!!!!! Does anyone know if they will release more of these or are we out of luck?!?!?!?

I am just now seeing your original message. We were able to snag 3 FTTF for our March 2017 cruise when they became available. Just keep checking. For our Breeze cruise they were originally sold out. I checked multiple times daily and they eventually became available again. Don't give up!

Edit: I just realized you are on our same cruise. I did post on our roll call when they became available. Our ship seems to be, already, almost full. Just keep checking!

  3. On our last cruise we had FTTF. We were in line to disembark the ship and I realized I could not find my S&S card. I had just had it or so I thought. I was able to quickly go up to guest services, while there was a long line in the regular line, and get issued a new one within 2 minutes. After that instance the cost of FTTF was worth it for the guest service line alone. I never did find that other S&S card.

  4. Hi friends!

We're hopping on a plane in a few days to board the Vista next Saturday (ahh!!!). I'm a big believer in the whole pay it forward thing, and I've used these boards to help me plan for this trip, so the least I can do is contribute some information back!

So if there's any questions you have about the Vista, anything you want to see, anything I can investigate, whatever, feel free to post it and I'll try my best to get it answered!

We're booked in a Havana Cabana on deck 5, so we'll definitely bring back info and pictures there (and if the internet is decent, I'll try to do a Facebook livestream thing!), and we're definitely planning on exploring every nook and cranny of this gorgeous ship!

I have read all your reviews and am very anxious to read your Vista review. I just followed you on Facebook:) We aren't on the Vista until March but I am excited to read your perspective of the new ship. Have a great trip!

  5. Our daughters first cruise was on the Breeze when she was 3. She had the best time. She loved the kids club so much we had a hard time getting her out of it. The staff were all amazing toward here, especially our dining room waiters. She loved the waterworks area. I would say it is a great choice for a three year old!

  6. We are booked for March 2017. We have no excursions available to book. The website says this: "We are still scheduling shore excursions for this sailing. Please check back in a few days to start planning a memorable vacation." It's been saying that since we booked a month ago. Anyone know when they should become available?

  7. We just got off the Breeze and had a cove balcony. It was awesome! So close to the water, a lot of privacy, and only got sun early morning or late afternoon depending on which way we were going. We never had water splashed on our balcony. We were under the galley, only heard noise one time early in the morning when I got up to use the bathroom. Fell back asleep very fast. I loved sitting out on the balcony, it was so private and peaceful. The only noise I heard from being that close to the water was the waves. Did I say it was awesome! Seriously! There was lifeboats above us but didn't affect the view. Only way I knew they were there was if I looked up. I would book another in a heartbeat. Only way to make your own opinion is to try one.

  8. I just switched my booking to a guarantee on the Breeze this week. Our room was assigned the next day. We ended up with a cove. I'm a little nervous with our room. The galley is above us and I'm reading nightmares of noise. Oh we'll it's a balcony after all and we will still have fun!

  9. There does have to be one person age 25 or older in the cabin unless they are traveling with a parent or grandparent who agrees to be responsible for them. If that is not the case on your cruise, you can book each one of them in a cabin with an adult 25 or over and then change keys at the guest services desk once onboard. If the adults are all already booked, you would have to change their reservation to book each one of the under 25's in a cabin with an adult. Depending on the fare type booked and how far out sail date is, you could incur costs for changing the reservations. Other than that, your only option is to book them in an existing cabin with someone over 25 who is already booked. And then you might have to find a different cabin that accommodates 3 or 4 passengers.

    Good luck.

That's not true. My brother and his GF just went on a cruise in October. They were both 22. Booked themselves also.

  10. I had a PVP that I really liked. He must of quit or something because now I have a lady and she calls me every single day. Drives me nuts. We do plan on booking and I told her back at the beginning of January to call me in the middle of February and we set up a date and time to call me at. She stills calls me every day. So I think I will just call the regular booking line and book with whoever answers the phone. I don't feel she should get the commission for our booking.

  11. Got in offer in the mail that if we book by January 31st we will receive a upgrade to platinum for this sailing. We are gold and still have quite a ways to go until platinum. We do plan on booking the Breeze for hopefully this May. Will be nice to have the perk for the cruise instead of paying for FTTF. There are also other perks with this promotion that are good until February 28th. Carnival must really be trying for business with these perks we were given.
