I always book the hot stone massage with the added foot massage. I carry tension in my neck and shoulders and they always use hands, elbows and forearms to work out the knots, always asking to let them know if the pressure is too much or too little. I let them know, right away, that I’m not interested in purchasing any additional products.
It’s always a wonderful experience, and a very important aspect of my cruise vacation.
Enjoy your massage… enjoy your cruise.

Sounds like a bargain to me!
Retirement dreams…

My retirement is way down the line… but if it were closer, I’d jump on this. It sounds spectacular.
I’m so glad to see this cruise line getting into the World Cruise sector, and with the perfect class of ship.
Saving my pennies and dreaming of a world cruise as a retirement gift. 😀

Just to add to the list of things that can go wrong…
Back in 2013, my Mother and I were flying on American Airlines to Antigua for a land vacation (thankfully). When our scheduled boarding time came, the gate staff announced that there would be a delay because one of the pilots spilled coffee on the control panel in the cockpit, which then had to be switched out.
Yeah, spilled coffee!!!
Our flight was delayed 5 hours.
If we’d been heading to a cruise, I would have passed out! 😅
Fly in early, get a hotel, do some sightseeing, eat a nice dinner, relax and wake up refreshed and ready to cruise.

St. Lucia.
It’s lush, green and beautiful.

Always: Celebrity, my favorite. The crew, the excellent service, the cleanliness, the ships, the solarium, the cuisine, the pampering, the little extras.
Runner up - Royal Caribbean. The entertainment is top notch. The crew is terrific and service is very good.
Try: Regent, Silversea, Seabourn, Holland America, Princess, edited to add Disney
Never: Well, never say never. I’m willing to try any cruise line and I can’t see myself NOT enjoying a cruise unless I or my travel companion were to take ill or get injured.

Question: Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina - Which room category has a view of Port Everglades cruise port?
They have Marina View, Intracoastal View and Water View, and I’m a little confused as to which is which.
Thanks in advance to all of you knowledgeable cruise critics! 😀

Thank you so much for sharing. Your cruise videos are a welcome joy during these difficult times.

As of November 11th, there were 3 of these Harley-Davidson machines on Eclipse. Great fun!

My free non-suite sailing would be on Edge in an infinite veranda. That's probably the only way I'd try that cabin type. I am a proud lover of traditional balcony cabins. 😉

2010 - Vision of the Seas - Round trip out of Venice to Alexandria, Egypt (overnight); Ashdod, Israel (Jerusalem and Bethlehem); Haifa, Israel (Nazareth and Galilee); Athens, Greece.
Ever since I was a little girl and heard of those Pyramids, I dreamed of seeing them, and this was when the opportunity came. I have a long list of trips I’d like to take, but this one was the only one on my “bucket list”.
2001 - Celebrity Zenith - Round trip out of NYC (my hope port) to Hamilton and St. George’s, Bermuda.
I very reluctantly tried this cruising thing and got hooked! 😀

I think it’s a wonderful idea. Very sorry they won’t be on Eclipse. I would relish seeing a ballet performance at sea.

1636 has bed by the bath. We had that cabin last year.

We’ve done this through Resorts for a Day in three ports:
Nassau - Warwick Paradise Island
Grand Cayman - Margaritaville (We actually got a room with this booking)
Curacao - Santa Barbara Resort (gorgeous resort, but far away-transportation was included)
All very nice quiet beach days. I highly recommend doing this. Very reliable website.

Wishing you and your mom a wonderful cruise. Enjoy!

A little later to the party but I’m glad I got to experience Zenith to Bermuda in 2001.
She got me hooked! 😀

Heartwrenching! So sad for this family. My deepest condolences.

Hello fellow cruisers,
Sailing round trip Los Angeles (San Pedro) to Hawaii with my favorite octogenarian (my dear Mother). Our cruise ends on Monday November 11th, Veterans’ Day. My mom will have wheelchair assistance at both the cruise port and airport and we never pack light 😀, so no walking off the ship with luggage for us.
I’m looking to book flights and wondering what time would be best to fly home. We’ll have to wait for wheelchair assistance, get our luggage, have a porter assist us, go through customs, get a taxi and get to the airport. We’re flying LAX to JFK so lots of flights available. Should I plan for a 1:00PM flight, or is that too early for comfort? Would 2PM or 3PM be a better choice?
I await advice from the experts.
Thank you in advance.
Happy cruising!

So very sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Such a loss to the CruiseCritic community.

OP... I’m glad everything worked out. Sorry you had those moments of worry. Luggage valet is generally very convenient. Unfortunately, mistakes happen.
Hope you and your wife had a wonderful cruise.

I loved both ships. I agree the Reflection felt slightly more crowded, and the reduced space in the Sky Lounge was noticeable. We are main dining room cruisers, so specialty restaurants are not important to us, although I think choices give everyone a better cruise experience and Reflection has more choices.
Having said all that, I would always prefer a longer cruise. Eleven days on Reflection beats nine days on Equinox.
Whichever you choose, have a wonderful cruise.
Wishing you calm seas and smooth sailing.

Enjoying your review. Great start. You’ve even got a cliffhanger. I hope the luggage turns up.

We got a day pass at the Warwick, Paradise Island last October. Very quiet adults only resort. Beautiful pool, small protected beach area. Good drinks. Although food was included, we didn’t partake, weren’t hungry. I would recommend it.

To OP: D.B. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I hope you get your finances resolved quickly. A pox on all the hackers and fraudsters.
To Lastdance: I wish your DH a full and speedy recovery.
