  1. DH & I had it on the Celebration in January 2023.  We loved it; so much so when we did our family cruise in July 2023 on the Mardi Gras we had everyone in our group (about 9 people) join us.  It was nowhere near as good as it was in January.  It was down right disappointing.  So I am on the fence about going back; maybe if the mood hits.

  2. Both hubby & I got Covid on our last 2 summer cruises (July/August 2022 on the Legend & July 2023 on the Mardi Gras). In between we did a cruise in January 2023 (on the Celebration) and didn’t get it.  It’s just the luck of the draw I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Good evening!

My PVP told me the thrill theater is back open, but I haven’t seen anyone on various platforms talking about it when referring to the IMAX. Has anyone been on recently that can confirm or deny?

    Thanks in advance!

Interested in this as well; will be on the Horizon in September!

Fresh Creations on MG was open on sea days but the times were not always consistent/set meaning they opened one day at noon and another closer to 1 o'clock.  That being said, was very convenient to have it right on serenity deck and was surprised at the variety of items and freshness.  We enjoyed that convenience and lack of people in line, thought it was a nice touch, option and right next to the bar.

On the Celebration in January that line was crazy!!  Luckily I was 5th-6th in line but it was easily 25+ deep.  I really enjoyed it & look forward to it on the Mardi Gras in July.

  5. Good morning fellow cruisers!  DH & I were on the Celebration in January & loved the beignets from Emeril’s.  We’re going on the Mardi Gras in July & looked at the menu for Emeril’s & don’t see the beignets!  Has anyone been on the Mardi Gras recently & can confirm?  We were really looking forward to getting those again!  Seems odd to not have them in the Mardi Gras considering it’s all about New Orleans.

    TIA!

That’s amazing! When we retire (in many years) we will be able to do multiple cruises in a year, and we can’t wait! We loved, loved, loved the Mardi Gras!

We’re not retired but have older children (14 &17) and my parents live with us so it gives us a bit of flexibility.  January is DH & I only as our anniversary is in January & July is with family.  It’s going to be extra special as my oldest will have just graduated from high school!

I have heard such great things about the Mardi Gras and hoping my boys love it (since it has all the bells and whistles!)

  7. This (in a fashion) happened to me in Antigua.  I was standing on the ramp to get back on the ship when I huge wind came through and blew my S&S card right into the water.  Luckily I was right there so they just escorted me to guest services to get a new one.  I joke that a part of me stays in Antigua 😂

January 15.  So looking forward to it.  First cruise since April, 2019!

We’re on the same sailing; see you onboard!! 🙂.  We did a B2B on Magic in January of this year & we’re sailing out of Baltimore on the Legend in July.  Really excited to be on this new ship; looks beautiful from the pictures I’ve seen!

How are their wings?  One of the individuals we are traveling with is a major wing fanatic and has been asking me, but I haven't tried them before.....

Very good!  $5 dollars & if I remember correctly we got like 10 wings for that price.  We’d do it again in a heartbeat!

  10. I’d consider us in the middle range.  When it’s just DH & I we have to have a balcony; absolute requirement.  We get Cheers (also a requirement).  We do specialty dining and sometimes do excursions.  I enjoy the massages at the spa but I don’t always get one.  DH gambles (only sporadically for me).  With the family we have done ocean view rooms to save but thinking the next family one will be balcony rooms as well!  We cruise an average of once a year but we have 3 booked in the next 6 months (making up for the break with COVID-19).

  11. This is hands down our favorite place on the ship!  You will often find my hubby & I at Alchemy during sail away 😊. We love the drinks and atmosphere.  And it’s our go to for Happy Hour (4:00-6:00) before dinner!

Lucky. RU2 is good.  We only get the RU9 offer which is nothing but a joke. It actually kinda ticks me off they keep sending it to me..... raise the cruise price $700 and then offer cheers. Ya, no thank you.

^This.  So irritating!  And they keep sending the promo email like I’m going to forget that all they are doing is rolling in the price of Cheers 🙄
