It took less than 48 hours from booking to cabin allocation.
15617, not the best but by no means the worst location.

I've done a search on this topic, but have an additional query. I've booked a Feb 2024 school holiday sailing on Arvia in a balcony guarantee. This cruise is almost sold out already. Wow!
In this situation am Iikely to get a cabin allocation sooner rather than later?
Thanks.

You do know there are other cruise lines available with adult only ships, if that's your thing?
Our daughter has been cruising since she was 3, now 13. She adores it and is a joy to be around on ship. Our very first cruise was on Princess, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Ah, ok. For a moment I thought they'd swapped ships on the December 22 sailings. Thanks.

I was supposed to be on the Infinity (South America) but it was shifted to the Eclipse, which is still NOT in the app.
Which sailing is this?

Hello,
My Silhouette to Iceland in June had and has the Elevate package and $400 OBC. The price has gone down by £200, I have already been paid in full so have been given $250 additional OBC.

Cublet
How easy was it to switch?
-
Hi,
Noticed today that the price of our Infinity December cruise and has dropped and they're also including the Elevate package and $600 OBC. Got our TA on the case.
Has anyone in the UK had success with switching to a better deal? Our cruise is fully paid too.

Just checked and all my Royal Caribbean reservations are also gone.
Something in their IT dept is seriously wrong.
-
It must be a total system glitch. They keep appearing and disappearing. Can't check in to our 31st July Apex cruise either.
-
... and they've gone again.
-
Scratch that, they're back!
-
Is anyone else having trouble with the website and app today?
Neither of my reservations are showing online and I can't check in on the app.
Just waiting to speak to them now.

I found myself tip toeing on, then quickly retreating.

@Stu UKSeems as though its Dubrovnik now, rather than Limassol so insurance will be easier.

See above - Cedartree appear to offer cover as long a no Cyprus call. I’ve got my fingers crossed that Apex continues to substitute Croatia for Cyprus.
Which sailing are you on?

Some info - clearly not advice but my finding from a few calls and emails. Cedartree seem to offer policies underwritten by AXA. They say the key driver on their policy is the country FCDO advise and not the cruise specific advice.
Thanks for the info, I did indeed call them both to confirm. Avanti is a no, CedarTree is a yes... but Cyprus isn't covered. Let's hope the switch to Dubrovnik is a go.

Not when FCDO says no to international cruises.
Are you sure? It says add cruise cover at the start

Looked at that. It doesn’t cover cruises.
Avanti cover cruises.

Hello! We’re on board this week, having a fantastic time!
Correct, Cyprus was swapped with Dubrovnik on our itinerary (I think yesterday?). We received a paper notifying us of the change at check in. Two of the other port days (Santorini and Rhodes) changed dates as well causing some logistical issues for anyone with plans booked through third parties. I suppose we were lucky that both of ours were willing to move the date for us no problem!
Last night at dinner (maybe 8:00ish) the Captain announced we would only be allowed off in Mykonos the next day with a ship excursion. We were bummed as all of the original excursions were very expensive ($150+ pp) and not really anything we were interested in. Luckily they did add a beach transfer option late last night for $45pp (one to Paradise Beach and one to a family beach). At Paradise Beach we have a section of chairs roped off for cruise passengers only as to create a “bubble” of sorts.
The timing of Celebrity’s announcement last night is consistent with the government’s public communications so I do believe they told us when they knew and weren’t trying to withhold information or anything. Keeping our fingers crossed for the other ports!
The ship is absolutely beautiful and the staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Having a great time!!
Glad you are having a wonderful time.
Do you know if the port swap is going to be a fixture of the upcoming cruises? If so, I'm happy as Dubrovnik is so lovely!

As long as your cabin category is on sail you can claim as many times as you like. Before final payment it is a cash refund after it's OBC. The cabin must be on general sale the day you claim. We claimed 3 times on our August round Britain sailing total nearly £900.
They have said they'll only match a TA price once, the going direct rate is still slightly more than we paid.
-
No dice on a further TA price Match.
-
I think I may give them a call.

Hi,
Does anyone think X will do another price match of a current TA price if they've already matched it during the booking process? The cost of our Apex 31/7 SV cabin has dropped and I was wondering what they might do, if anything?
Any advice
Thanks!
