Yay, I got in touch with him through the phone number on his website. Seems to be the best way. And he is giving tours still. He is so very knowledgeable about his country which he obviously loves. Henry of EEE tours.

Hi everyone,
We are heading to St. Thomas again and have always taken our tours with Henry Christopher of EEE Tours. I have been emailing and emailing but getting no response. The last reference to him on the board was 2017. Has anyone taken a recent tour with him?
Thanks

I vote for Magen's - last time I was there, I had pelicans dive bombing the water around us to get to the fish. It was a great experience.
Edit: It has been years since I was there, and it was before the hurricane. Reading comments from others, I think this beach may have changed sadly.

I would like Diaz's number as well please :)

I did this tour two weeks ago and I absolutely loved it!! Best tour I have taken (and I've done a lot!).

I just had an awesome experience snorkeling with Thriller Ocean Tours. Only 12-15 people on board, owner operated, all equipment provided and a full day of snorkeling! And giant turtles :)
Best tour I have ever been on!

I was there two weeks ago and I saw these boats. They are big and loud and great party boats. If you want to jump the plank and party with lots of people and I assume, lots of rum, then this is a good choice!
I took a tour with Thriller Ocean Tours. A fast motorboat ride to some amazing snorkeling spots, then on to see the giant turtles and shipwrecks. All equipment provided and very safe for poor swimmers. It was an experience of a lifetime for me! And it was very personalized - the owner is there with you and wants to ensure you have a great time. And very few people which makes it a great experience - 12-15 people on the boat.
I highly recommend this tour!

I highly recommend Thriller Ocean Tours. I did this two weeks ago and it was one of the best tours I have every done. $70 each. Pick up at dock, exciting boat ride, best snorkeling all day, equipment provided, safe even for people who are less strong swimmers, great people, and great rum punch and snacks!
You can see the turtles for cheaper with a tour from the beach. But they won't take you to the coral reef or other shipwrecks where there are no people. If you want snorkeling, this is your tour. Oh and there are only 12-15 people on the tour so definitely not crowded! If I was staying in Barbados, I would go every day with these people! The owner runs the tour so really cares about you and what your experience is! Stephen is a great guy!
Enjoy!

I was there last week and some even bargained them down to $10. But we did Thriller Ocean Tours for $70 for a whole day of snorkeling and it was totally worth it. When you go to the beach, those tours are crowded and noisy. Thriller was personalized, provided the equipment (and rum), it was excellent.
But on the beach, most people will charge $20.
Enjoy!

I absolutely love Barbados. This was my second time here and enjoyed it thoroughly!
Beautiful white sand and blue, blue water. Friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere!
This time my family took a tour with Thriller Ocean Tours and had a blast! A full day of snorkelling and swimming with the turtles, exciting motor boat ride, fun, fun, fun (and an amazing rum punch). The owner is there with you and does everything to make your day great. Equipment provided and it is really safe even if you are not a great swimmer!
I had the most wonderful time!

I am heading to Barbados in the next few weeks and have been looking at going to the Boatyard for a fun day. But it is confusing! I see so many different prices for different things.
I would like to swim with the turtles (that's number one for me) and spend some time at the beach (not as important). I don't drink so that's not important to me.
Can anyone tell me how much exactly the Boatyard is? Is the swim with turtles included or do you need to find and pay a third party for this?
Thanks!

Thank you "Gonna Go Cruising"! I have been talking to Ivan and was just checking here for a recommendation for him before I confirmed and there was your post! Serendipitous!
:)
And thanks so much to the others who also responded to my post - I realize now that going it alone is maybe not the best on this island! Ivan it is!!

No ArubaLisa, I had specifically asked for a recommendation if he couldn't make it but he said he couldn't recommend anyone else. I have made contact with Ivan though (as someone had said Bully had prevously recommended him) and he is available that day. Strange that Bully wouldn't recommend him??
I am wondering if a tour is necessary in Aruba or if it is easy enough to find these places with a rental Jeep/car?
Does anyone have experience touring on your own in Aruba?

So disappointed! After all the wonderful comments, I was really hoping for a tour with Bully in May, 2013. But he just emailed that he is taking all of May off for vacation and maintenance of his vehicle. Too bad! But good for him for replying as well as maintaining his vehicle and taking personal time!!

Excellent, excellent tour company! I cannot say enough good things about Fabrizio and All Around Italy. I have just returned from Italy and used this company for three consecutive days! Fabrizio gave us wonderful personal service for each of these days and it was excellent. There were no lines - he took care of everything. He knew when to go to avoid the lines. He showed us things that no large tour every could. I always felt 100% safe with him. He is a dear, dear man who loves his job and his country. He made our trip to Italy the wonderful experience that it was. Be sure to ask him for gelato in Rome at Capital Cono!!! Best I have ever had!! Fabrizio, if you read this - "Giorgio" says hi! :)
