Anyone want to guess on how a cruise that disembarks on 1/29 and returns 2/5 will be treated?
-
Christopher Turdo was the CD on Freedom this past weekend (Nov 5-8).
-
Just got off Oasis today, the phone number to dial for reservations is 2323.

I inquired multiple times. All I got was around 1800 passengers (that's 48% of the 3782 double occupancy or 40% of the 4515 max capacity). It was great. (Our Adventure of the Seas cruise with 25% was even better). Great service, no crowds, no lines.
Although they asked guests to reserve shows, there were never enough people to even have crew bother to scan sea pass cards at the doors.
When the Windjammer was open, only half of the buffet serving line was open. Windjammer was closed for dinner and closed for lunch when we were at CocoCay.
Perfect, thanks again!!

This is such great info, thank you so much for posting! I sail 11/5 and this will be a HUGE help! Apologies if I missed it somewhere, but do you know how many passengers were on this sailing?

10 weeks on, and then 10 weeks off.

I've always been a big fan of his and thought he was great for Royal (and the industry). This article definitely solidifies that, thanks or sharing!!

He just spoke to the media on behalf of CLIA with VP Pence, so I guess he is definitely still very much in the business.
-
Apologies if this was posted already, but couldn't find it with a search (a least in this forum).

Marcelo Alvarado was CD on the 1/17-1/20 Navigator cruise. He was high energy, very visible, and did a great job overall.

NAVIGATOR: Hugo Arenas returns 10-18 #1426 Please confirm Hugo is aboard.
Hugo was on Navigator on the 11/15 cruise. His energy is second to none and he is an excellent CD and a perfect fit for this itinerary (Short cruise, Lots of first time cruisers, fun/party crowd sailing from Miami)!

We thought Abe was one of the best.
Definitely one of the best and a true class act.

What ever happened to Ken Rush? Somehow he always seemed to be our CD. We really liked him.
I agree, Ken is great. He works shore-side now at the HQ as Director, Entertainment & Guest Activities.

Looks like Dru was interviewing for a Port Shopping position for PPI not too long after he left Anthem, so I am sure he will show up on another line at some point. He is way too good at what he does for him not to IMHO.
"PPI Group employs dynamic individuals with strong sales experience and outstanding public-speaking skills to work aboard cruise ships as shopping presenters."
"...some of the world’s most popular cruise lines including Disney, Norwegian, Holland America, and more!"

"Our sailing only had 215 children on it"
Which date did you sail? Just curious for future reference 🙂

Since you were on MJ very very recently, could you tell me who was the Activity Manager onboard for your sailing. I keep a list on Cruise Critic of Activity Managers and your information would help me keep that list as current as possible....THANKS in advance.
Doh, I remember seeing her on the stateroom TV multiple times and wondering if I should pay more attention in case someone on here asked. I even wanted to take a picture, but couldn't find my phone at that moment. I believe it was Jessica or Jennifer, but I can't be 100% certain.

On Majesty now and Captain Daniel Budzelewskiis is the current captain.
-
On Majesty now and Mickey is the CD on this sailing.

Just got another e-mail with docs and updated luggage tags!

The porters will have tags - you already know the cabin number, just have them write it on one of their tags. You don't really need the rest of the docs.
Ok, thanks!

The passes updated, now just waiting on the luggage tags.

You have to contact whoever booked your cruise and ask them to request Royal to regenerate your cruise docs. This takes a day or so.
Yikes, I booked my cruise myself and the ship leaves tomorrow at 4. I guess I'll just figure it out at the port (which could be very costly of time on a Cuba itinerary).

Did anyone get updated luggage tags? The new receipt I was e-mailed and the edocs online both still have the old deck and room.

I spotted Ken Rush behind the scenes as well on Wonder on the March 18th sailing.
