So happy to hear everyone gets to have one.
The S+S is honestly icing on the cake for us. We primarily want the reserved seating for shows, priority boarding, reserved times for the wave rider, rock climbing, etc.
-
We are wondering if we get The Key, does each person in the cabin receives a single-device Voom package or if it is only 1 device per cabin?
-
Soooo glad to hear testing seems to be limited.

So I understand the pre-cruise covid test - though I’m very curious about how RC ships do onboard testing. Is it daily for everyone, only on cruises of a certain length, random luck of the draw, triggered by something in particular, voluntary, or ??? It seems like COVID is all but forgotten about in the US (or just ignored) and cruise ships have a totally different set of standards that they have to follow.
I’m not worried about getting COVID so much as getting stashed in an isolation room and forgotten about and end up missing the actual cruise.

Can do! So excited for the great reports coming in about others who have taken them.
We opted for a customized tour — both turtles and great snorkeling…can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
-
Were you just out the money for the private tour?

I know a variety of restrictions are being relaxed and am curious if we are allowed to book a tour that isn’t through the cruise line (Curacao).

Our daughter (10) is really into arts/performing…I noticed the Harmony OTS has a section for plays that are put on by the kids. Does anyone know if parents are allowed to see them?
-
We actually just booked a custom turtles & snorkeling tour — so excited!

We will be visiting on Harmony OTS in November and are hoping to book a Turtle/Snorkeling trip with Gone Caribe!

We are sailing later this year and also need to know.

Good points all!

we are sailing on Harmony Nov 12 and it will be our first cruise with our daughter (10) and would love to hear how other parents kept up with their kids onboard?
just trying to strike a balance with family time and giving her a bit of freedom and a way to reach each other instead of having to search the various decks

Wow that is so cool! I imagine your kids loved that!

We stayed in 6242 on Harmony with five of us. The sofa bed has a trundle that pulled out so two can sleep on that and then the pullman from the ceiling. My boys were 10, 12, 12 when we went and it was fine.
Thank you! This is very encouraging

Hiding a bed in the ceiling ?! - what sort of wizardry is this!
The last pull down bed I had was on Carnival when I was a kid (don’t want to admit how many years ago) and the bed was built into the wall and had to be literally pulled down. Oh such memories!

Thank you - I didn’t notice or request it as an accessible suite…just wanted one that had plenty of space for the family on our cruise.
Didn’t actually see a drop down bunk in the photos though did watch a video where it was mentioned…guess we will have to wait and see…either way I’m sure our daughter will greatly appreciate an actual bed vs having to sleep on the couch or a rollaway 😉

THANK YOU!
Last time we cruised there wasn’t an app and dinners were a surprise—everyone crowded around the posted menu at dinner - ah it just won’t be the same…lol
-
With so many onboard dining options we are trying to figure out if there is a standard menu for 8 day cruises on the Oasis-class ships.
Hoping to narrow down which nights we want to go to the main dining room, or make reservations, or skip it all and just enjoy the buffet, etc…

We booked our first ever Junior Suite (#7626) because it was cheaper than the extra spacious balcony. While the spacious balcony has a set of bunk beds - I am trying to figure out what the bedding arrangement is for our JS. The deck plan shows 5 guests for the room…I’m wondering if there is a rollaway bed, Pullman bed, the sofa is a pullout style bed, etc.
I called RC directly and gave up after being on hold for an hour while the person who answered the phone tried finding someone who could answer the question.
I saw a video that showed the Oasis had a nice curtain that could be drawn across the JS room for privacy…does the Harmony have this feature as well?

Just booked our first cruise in AGES….and I get the pre-departure COVID test requirement…but I’m curious - do all guests have to test at the port and again before the end of the cruise?
Trying to figure out how many times our brains are going to have to be tickled
-
We tried to use one of ours - which is 10 years old. While it is still valid, they are having to do some special back-end stuff to reactivate it…which takes 3 business days - gah!

COVID pre-cruise testing requirement going away?
in Royal Caribbean International

I’m happy to see that Royal is relaxing the COVID testing for shorter cruises, no longer requiring vaccines, and was curious if anyone had heard if they are going to further relax (or at least review) pre-cruise requirement for cruises that are 6+ days?
