We have recently returned from a hotel in Croatia. We loved the hotel and have booked to go back next year, but we did notice that we did not get chatting to people in the hotel as we do on a cruise.
Â
So we have booked a cruise on Azura too đ

Why are people buying coffee, tea and water? It's free!
Â
Personally, I would prefer a cheaper package, for say, just wine and beer and just pay if you want anything else.

Sorry Presto, just seen your posts. We got home at midnight on Thursday/Friday. Lovely weather when we left Malta at 4pm. Typical! Hope you have a lovely time xPs had a disappointing cruise on Ventura in August ... cold and windy with loads of fog. Things can only get better and we will be on one of our favourite ships.Â

. We have had a lovely cruise, but the weather has not been too good. No rain, but a cold wind lowering the temperature.. Valetta is forecast for 20 c on Thursday though :):):):)Sounds good. Love our Captain Willard but if Chris Bourne looks after his staff like him then we are happy. The crew always tell us that Oceana is a lovely, friendly ship and they genuinely like being on her. I think she is like a family.Â
Been packing today --- hope she can take the weight :)
Â
She may be showing her age but we just love her
-
Definitely Chris Bourne. We have been on here 3 times and he has been on every time.
Â
Lovely Captain on a lovely ship đ

We use the buffet for all our meals as we find the portions too large in the MDR. We remove our tips, and give a tip to our steward. I shall certainly suggest in the comments at the end of our cruise that they are included as Thomson and some other cruise lines do.Dai, you need to circulate around the ship a bit more, the buffet is always full for breakfast, and on our recent Caribbean cruise on Ventura it was extremely well patronised in the evening, especially on Indian/Asian nights.
We chatted with the head waiter in there one night and he said they normally serve about 500/600 most nights, and up to 800/900 on popular menu evenings.
-
Not the first time they have done that Nancy đ
-
Thanks for that. Going on her for the repo in March. So looking forward to it đ
-
Sadly we are flying home that day âšī¸ but we have a late flight so hoping to see a bit of Valetta.Oh yes, I remember, we get onboard on the 5th once she's arrived in Malta. Are you staying on or getting off then?Â
Would you know if we can stay on board until we leave for the airport as you can on Thomson?
-
Oh, she should be lovely for our repo cruise in March đ
-
Does anyone think it would be a good idea to cross reference this board from Thomson in case people looking for Thomson think it has gone out of business? đ
-
Ha ha Sheila and we are more often on another site which mustn't be mentioned on here đđThat's all far too complicated for me! Fortunately I only use the app. now and there are no countdown clocks on there! [emoji4]Â

I appear to be a bit lacking in the editing department I tried what you advised but could.t find the bit where you could change the .co.uk ?????? can you help?????
Â
Many thanks for any advice received.
You have to copy and paste it then you can change it and save it. I couldn't fathom it out at first!
Â
Hope that helps :)

I just noticed that, have a lovely time xLovely! Canaries for us next week but we are back on D2. -
Thank you so much Aulanis. Done it :)Hi - I have been helping people with this in the problems pagesBasically when you create a clock on CC.C0.UK will not work.
I think since the site became more secure.
I have emailed Laura and hopefully it will be fixed.
If you use create a new clock and get as far as pasting the code
link into your edit signature page before you review it change the
bits in the link that say .co.uk to .com - do not leave any spaces.
If you dont understand or cant do this , post which cruise you want the clock for and I will make you a link.
-
How strange! When are you going again Linda?
Â
End of next months to the Canaries (whisper - P&O ;))
-
Mine have disappeared. Just a blank spot when I expand the signature
-
Where have my countdown clocks gone? đ¯đ¯
-
We have been on Discovery and Oceana, both lovely ships. Spirit is OK, but not as well renovated as her sister, Celebration.
Â
We like Thomson and P&O equally. Have done 13 with Thomson and 4 so far with P&O and two more booked.
Â
I think if you like Oceana you will like Discovery.
-
We love Azura. Going on Ventura on November. Hope she is as good.Â
Â
Why not give Azura a go.
Â
And as you can see we are going on Oceana again đ Looks like we get off as you get on đ
-
Not been on Britannia, but we have been on Azura. She is a lovely ship. She is the same design as Crown Princess, which we also love.
Â
I would recommend her.
-
Hi Jim, lovely to hear from you đ. We loved Discovery as well. Our drinks bill on Discovery 2 was NIL đ
-
Actually Tui is German - Ja? đđ
-
Non! John. But P&O is owned by Carnival, so who knows what the future holds? đđWhat, and have the P&O name disappear too, oui?Â
