I'm trying to get a feel for Celebrity's timing on the issuance of FCC certificates under the Cruise with Confidence program.  My wife and I cancelled our planned sailing on Celebrity Apex April 23, 2022 due to covid concerns in early January.  I cancelled the cruise under the Cruise With Confidence program and had total deposits on that booking of $200 cash (onboard booking) and FCC certificates of $1,326.52 from an Equinox cruise which had been cancelled by Celebrity under the Global Sailing suspension. When I cancelled the cruise on January 9, I received a confirmation to the effect that upon confirming compliance with Cruise with Confidence the FCC's would be issued within 30 days.  Over two months has now passed (62 days to be exact) and I have heard nothing.  Has anyone out there had recent experience on FCC timing?    

  2. I am the O.P.   Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions.  Much appreciated! I am happy to report that I was able to contact the County Health Dept., who looked up my record and recorded the missing Lot number on the vaccine card.  Problem solved!

My wife and I live in Central Florida and are booked on Apex April 23, 2022.  My wife and I have both had all three covid-19 shots (me Moderna, she Pfizer).  It has come to our attention that a local couple were were required to go into 10-day quarantine upon arrival in Hawaii because they had their first Moderna shot on the exact same day and exact same location as I did on December 31, 2020, but the lot number of the vaccine was not recorded on their vaccine card.  I just checked my card and same thing... first dose no lot number recorded and second and third shots do have the lot numbers recorded. For those that have cruised recently can you tell me how much detail Celebrity is looking at when inspecting proof of vaccination?   For the first dose, my card does show Moderna, 12/31/2020, LCHD (Lake County Health Board), but as mentioned above, no vaccine lot number.  Since I have had three shots (with the booster) with the last two showing lot numbers, am I at risk of a problem at check-in for the April cruise?  Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Booked through a T.A. who is having the same issue.  Still unable to book complimentary dining reservations with Select Dining option.  Same response when trying to book the free dining venues "Currently unavailable but we're working on it."  So far neither the T.A. or myself have been able to get a clear answer from Celebrity as to why this is happening.

My wife and I are booked on Celebrity Apex April 23, 2022.  In the past I have been able to make dining reservations under Select Dining 12 months or more  in advance.  However, when I go in to "My Celebrity" I am able to only make reservations in specialty restaurants.  When I try to make reservations in the complimentary restaurants I get a message "Not currently available but we're working on it.".  This same issue has persisted for two weeks.  I called Celebrity two days ago and was transferred to the dining reservations agent.  The agent input all the requests (including two other guests) but when she went to finalize the dining bookings she got an error message.  She told me to be patient awhile longer as there seems to be some sort of technical issue going on.  I have made dining reservations successfully for over 10 years, so this latest glitch was very much unexpected.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I received a FCC for $200 for a cruise that was cancelled by Celebrity in June, 2020.  I used the FCC toward a new booking on Celebrity Apex April 24, 2021 which was made previously with a $500 refundable deposit.   However, I recently decided to cancel that cruise about 30 days ago and received my $500 deposit back within 2 weeks. However, i did not get anything back from Celebrity for the $200 FCC that I had also applied to the cancelled booking.  I tried to use the same FCC toward the cost of a separate booking on Celebrity Apex  January 23, 2022, but I received a rejection notice from Celebrity indicating the FCC had already been used.  So... my question is... If a FCC is used toward a new booking that is subsequently cancelled, does the FCC get cancelled as well?  Appreciate any insight from anyone who may have had a similar experience. Thank you.

My wife and I live in Central Florida and will be driving to Port Everglades for our sailing on Reflection November 26 and returning to port on December 7.  At the present time the Port Everglades port schedule shows Reflection departing on November 26 from the new Terminal 25.  Then, on the December 7 return to port, the port schedule shows Reflection docking at terminal 18 even though there are no ships showing as being berthed at Terminal 25 on that date.  For people like ourselves driving to the  port, this could be a problem. If we use the midport garage for parking, this works well for luggage handling etc for Terminal 25.  However, if we return to terminal 18, this could be a problem as there is no walkway or shuttle available between Terminal 18 and the midport garage.  Does anyone have any additional information as to whether Terminal 18 for Reflection's return to port on December 7 is accurate or is it possible this is just an error on the page? (we are hoping Reflection will return to terminal 25).  If it is indeed terminal 18 for Reflection's return to port on December 7, does anyone have any suggestions on how we can get our luggage from Terminal 18 to the midport garage following our return to port?  Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.     

  8. Thank you all for your responses and suggestions. I decided a short time ago to contact Celebrity Cruises reservations directly with the problem rather than going back to Captain's Club as a follow-up to yesterday's call.

     

    The reservation agent was not able to determine the source of the technical issue vis-à-vis the missing icons for my documentation. However, she did an excellent job in downloading the documents to a PDF file and then forwarded the documents to me in an e-mail which I just received a few moments ago. The agent also ordered the luggage tags for me. Excellent service and all accomplished in less than 10 minutes!

     

    So... problem now solved. Now just 6 weeks until sailing time on Silhoette!

  9. My wife and I are sailing on Celebrity Silhouette December 4. Right on schedule 49 days out, I received the regular e-mail notification from Celebrity 3 days ago (on Sunday) confirming that my cruise docs were now available. However, when I go into On-line check in and click the tab 'check for luggage tags, the normal icons for the cruise docs and ordering luggage tags do not come up.

     

    Because I have Elite status with Captain's Club, I called in to C. Club yesterday to report the problem. The rep indicated she would submit a special request to have the docs re-sent to me and that this should correct itself overnight. 24 hours have passed and still no change.... no icons come up when I follow the proper procedure for accessing the docs.

     

    After 28 cruises, mostly with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, this is the first time this has ever happened to us. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, how was it resolved? Thanks in advance for your input.
