I have not posted on here for months, but just wanted to come back and say how much I love Zumba. I strated going one night a week and then wanted more and found out here how to find another class (thanks!) so I now go two, sometimes three times a week... still looking for the elusive Friday class which suits my schedule. I love Zumba. I go to classes with two different instructors. They each have their own style and I like that. I can't say I prefer one over the other.

So I was reading Princess does Zumba. Has anyone done this on a Princess ship? I've never been on Princess. DH loves Celebrity. We have also sailed Norwegian and Royal Caribbean and like them. For DH it has to have good food. How is the food on Princess? I like the food, shows, pools and if it has Zumba I would much prefer that than going to the gym or walking on the deck!

On the news the other day they were talking about a large emerald being auctioned here in Canada, and pointed out there were concerns it was "worthless" white beryl which had been dyed green. Interesting. So if the white beryl is worthless, is the yellow beryl worthless too? The emerald in question (deep green in colour) was worth over $1 million but the owner was arrested on fraud charges, so no bidders at the auction. Interesting footnote to the emerald or beryl story. :)

Thanks for the feedback. Really interesting information on the beryl. I grew up in Colombia, so I should be more informed! :) I think I'll stick to the green for now.

Anita - What a great story. It is hard to go to a class and worry about your weight. Good to see her try to do what she can.

I also looked up the classes in my area and will try another class next week in my area, so I could do two a week. Zumba! Looking forward to tommorrow night.

I went to Zumba last week for the first time and loved it. The class is only once a week though. What else should I do to complement my Zumba. I bought the Wii Zumba and just don't really like it... but maybe as I learn more in class I will feel more comfortable with the Wii?

I was on the Summit recently and they were selling yellow emeralds. I love emeralds so I went to look at them. I had never heard of yellow ones before but these are from a mine in Brazil and are very new etc etc. Great deal according to the sales lady at a great price. She said they are not available many places yet but the owner of the mine has a contract with the cruise ship which I would think would mean the cruise line. I did not buy one - yellow is not really my colour. I was curious though about them and have not found much info since coming back. Has anyone bought one and what did your local jeweller say?

As an aside - did not really like the shops on the Summit. I think of all the ships we have been one - five - I liked this shopping the least and it is reflected in the fact we just bought two t-shirts from the sale table!

There were nine of us total. Lots of room in the van.

We just came back and did the tour with Donaldson. It was great. We did the Champagne Reef snorkeling - AMAZING - TiTou Gorge - AMAZING and Screw Spa - RELAXING. I would highly recommend Donaldson and Nature Isle. It was a wonderfull day. Donaldson had a cooler with drinks in it for throughout the day and it was great. I really recommend him.
