Bandits wife - no I didn’t enter roll call. I was hoping to go on tour with Sweeney’s but so far we are only 2 booked and they don’t run tour unless at least 10 people total
-
We are going to be in St Croix on Nov 5th and I called Sweeney’s couple months ago. He said we were 1st to book and had to have total of 10 to run tour. Never heard anything and so called today and he said we were still only 2 to book. I need to find somewhere else Incase no one else books. Just shocks me that cruise the size Carnival Breeze is and no one has booked. If you call he will answer or leave message and he calls back(think he called back within 10 minutes)

Banditswife - we are on same cruise

Kelsey - about how long did the 27 falls take? We are going in November and my son hink8ng of doing this but we are only in port 7:30-3:30(so back on board by 2:30). Is this enough time?
-
We will be in Amber Cove in November and there from 7:30-3:30. Trying to decide whether to book 7 falls through Carnival or 12 falls through private. Not sure on time restraints, which would be better. Any advice? Also if we do go outside of ship which company should we use?

And also in main theater

There's plenty of time for those posts to show up because at this point they're still not even sure where/if Irma will even hit. It could just be a whole lot of rain like last year when they predicted Matthew to wreak havoc, and all it did was rain all day.
I for one can't stand how the media plays up every single potential storm to be the coming Apocalypse and love it when they wind up wrong with egg on their faces.
There is a lot of sensationalism but Matthew did wreck havoc in South Carolina (especially Georgetown up to Myrtle Beach)

Keeping an eye on Irma AND HER EVIL SIBLINGS! Supposed to sail out of Charleston on 9/9.
Us too

I just got off and I took individual containers (2 boxes which would be 24 total) in a galling Baggie in my carry on. I slaw ads do this as I like flavored creamer plus use the sugar free ones.

Cappuccino pie (from old menu)

I travelled with 4 women in room 1 time but we had a very large balcony also which helped greatly. I travel with 3 all the time (mom & aunt). Always use over door shoe holder (this works great for hygiene items, suntan lotion, misc items. When we had 4 the showers worked ok because we only ate in dining room 2 nights (rest on lido) so we could space then throughout morning and night plus we sat on balcony which gave privacy. I do know some that a couple go shower in gym locker room to make more manageable. I checked them out and they are actually larger than shower in room.
-
Do you remember if cappuccino pie is still a dessert offered on American Menu? I cruise in 2 weeks with thus being 1st time with American menu anf that dessert us my favorite

Where is the best (and most reasonable price) parking for Port Canaveral? Also where is a good place to stay night before?
-
Just got off her last week. This was my 7th cruise on her. Live close to port. Yes she is old but really had no problems. Smelled sewer a few times (that happens on other ships too). Staff was great. Always found food I liked. Lido was very crowded but it was during spring break with beautiful weather
-
Are there other places to park at the port in Charleston? I didn't realize how expensive it was haha
If you go down the night b4 many hotels offer park & stay.
-
Was just there last week. We had #10. It's the 2nd time we have had it. Perfect that not crowded, bathroom close, and not far to lunch
-
3 days. On Fantasy
-
Yes but in my opinion none of the fridges are really cold (more like coolers)
-
We missed Risa on our last Fantasy cruise... loved her!
I glad they have a permanent CD, I'm sure Paul is fine...
Bob - Paul isn't permanent. Sailed with him in Jan. and asked him how long he was on. He is a floater for different ships covering vacations. He said he's on until end of March (I will see him again in 3 weeks). He was a good director when sailed during super bowl
-
I've always used over bathroom door and it works perfectly
-
The Fantasy does not have the tv option but there are a couple self serve kiosks that you can check your balance as much as you want (1 is by guest services on Empress and 1 on promenade
-
It would be in early February so what is the weather like in SC then?
That depends. It is still early Feb and it's 60's today and 70 tomorrow. Last year we were freezing with ice around this time.
When we left on 1-28 it was 37 and got to 70 in Bahamas and was 60 when we got back on 2-2.
-
Just got off her on 2-2 and will be back on her 3-21 (for 7 day). I have been on her 6 times so far (very close for me to drive to port). This last trip was more of a relaxation trip so didn't do too much. Went to both shows (friends traveling with me had never been) they were ok but not my favorites.bee never made it to comedy club. Super Bowl was on while sailing so they showed the game on big screen in Universal Lounge plus all tv around ship (which was great for anyone wanting to watch). We went to
Little Stirrup Cay which I enjoyed so much more than Freeport (if we go there I usually stay on ship unless I go to casino). In Nassau we just walked in close area for my friends yo get few souvenirs then relaxed on ship. If you have any specific questions I can try yo answer

Nothing on Fantasy but was also not expecting anything.

Irish13 - you can call Sweeney’s (it’s just a normal long distance call-or free on cell phone- since it’s considered states) and he answers or gets back to you quick. I called today and he got back to me within 10 minutes. Unfortunately for me as we will be there Nov 5th and so far only 2 of us booked and they won’t run tour unless total 10 people. Still keeping fingers crossed(oh I’ll be there nov 5th)
